My hubs and I first discovered @donumestate early in our relationship/ dating for about a year circa 2014.. While we were en route to the tasting, we got a call from the host asking if it was absolutely certain that were were going to show. Apparently they got a call from a VIP that was trying to get a tasting last minute. We said we were definitely coming!!! The tasting was held in an unassuming trailer type building and was such an incredible experience.. we fell in love with their wines and became members(still to this day.. the only wine club we are members of !) Toward the end of the tasting, and a few extra pours of wine, we were finally able to get our host to divulge who the celebrity was that almost bumped us…and we said .. hit me baby one more time with that Pinot.. it was @britneyspears !! Who knows if this really happened, but we like to think it did, and we were treated like the total VIPs .Today it is acreage and acreage of incredible vineyards and gorgeous outdoor art installations.. I highly recommend a visit next time you are in #napa / #sonomacounty area! And if you love delicious #pinot 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Pictured here is my quick #iPhone shot of The Vertical Panorama Pavilion - a site-specific, original and permanent art installation created by @studiootherspaces and@signumarchitecture

They are always adding new pieces of art to their collection and my jaw always drops .

2025 AIA Houston Design Awards – Architecture Greater Than 50K SF Award Winner: Hotel Saint Augustine @hotelsaintaugustine.

Firm: Lake Flato Architects @lakeflato
Contractor: Forney Construction @forneyconstruction
Structural Engineer: Architectural Engineers Collaborative @aecollab
MEP Engineer: Wylie Engineering
Civil Engineer: Walter P Moore @walterpmoore
Interiors: @post_company
Landscape Architect: @teneyckla

In the heart of Montrose, Hotel Saint Augustine draws inspiration from Houston’s most iconic cultural landmarks and the intimate, residential scale of its surrounding neighborhood.

The hotel is composed of five two-story buildings arranged around lush courtyards, gardens, and winding paths—creating a serene retreat that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Open-air bridges, generous screened porches, and shaded walkways invite guests to immerse themselves in both nature and community.

Featuring 71 guest rooms, a flagship restaurant, lobby bar, event space, and a circular pool, the hotel balances luxury with contextual sensitivity. Its gray brick masonry and combed ash-wood siding pay homage to the Menil Collection and Montrose’s architectural vernacular.

Congratulations to Lake Flato Architects and the full project team on this remarkable addition to Houston’s cultural landscape.

To my dear friend @onezieme ,
I want the world to know how amazing you were, and that Chris and I feel so incredibly lucky to have gotten to know you and work with you over the years. We truly have lost a bright light .To everyone reading this, Onezieme was our builder, architect, creative-zen-guru on our house we bought and renovated in 2015.Chris and I weren’t even married when we decided to impulse buy a historic 1923 “fixer upper”home in Houston. We really had no idea what we were getting into.. at some point I thought to myself “Maybe I should also build a photo studio on top of the garage that didn’t exist!” Yesss. “And maybe I need another architect, to design my new photo studio,” who lucky for us was @appelarchitects (Claudia’s super talented Architect mom) and Boom, just like that, we are building a new photo studio, and renovating an entire old old house at the same time.Ooh, and top of it - I LOVE DESIGNERS, and design, and how could I choose 1 to work with, so I chose 2 different design teams to work on project old and new VanSoefer. @nest.interiordesigngroup on the Photo Studio, and @creativetonic on the 1923 house.Am I nuts - YES!Was it amazing - YES!We interviewed7 different contractors and Onezieme was the clear choice. He was chill and artsy, had great ideas, a cute cajun accent, seemedgenuinely excited to take on this craziness and deal with all of our creative energies. Onezieme was probably the most patient person I have ever met .. he definitely was never in a hurry. He wanted things done right and beautifully.I never saw him in a bad mood.He cared SO MUCH and we knew it, felt it, and just so fortunate to have had a relationship with our builder that was like this.He was a true artist and amazing human. Chris and I now have a home filled with beautiful memories of an incredible creative collaboration. We are so grateful to have have met our insanely special friend Onezieme.Everyone loved him.. he was just one of those people. The sun was always shining, always a smile on his face, always positive. You will never be forgotten my friend ..
- Love always Julie and Chris

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
