YOU'RE INVITED to the opening of Kinfolk by Christina Erives at Junior High on May 15, 2026 7pm — 10pm.

Christina Erives’ work is rooted in the language of folk art—where storytelling, tradition, and daily life meet through the handmade. She is drawn to the quiet power of objects shaped by hand, carrying marks, symbols, and gestures that feel both personal and shared.

She understands kinfolk as more than family—it includes all those connected through making, sharing, and remembering. The people she comes from and those she finds along the way. Each piece becomes a vessel for connection, holding stories that are both intimate and collective.

Working primarily in clay, she explores the balance between function and narrative. Surfaces are carved, glazed, and layered with imagery that echoes folk motifs, reinterpreted through her own visual language.

At its core, her practice honors making as a form of remembering—an offering to the past, a reflection of the present, and a gesture toward the future—where art continues to connect us to our kin, our communities, and the enduring thread of shared imagination.

Are you starting Pride Season single? This queer Pitch and Pair event welcomes all genders and sexual orientations — as long as you're enthusiastic about dating someone who is bi/pansexual!

How it works: The event will start at 8pm with some mingling. We will provide ice breakers for lightly guided conversation or just an opportunity to scope out the other cuties in attendance.

At 8:30pm our host from Infinite Spectrum will introduce the presentation hour. Here, a few members selected from our communities (in advance!) will pitch their single bestie to the room.

At 9:30pm the event will conclude with some more unguided mingling so you can pass Instagram handles and phone numbers to the new cuties you just met!

How we choose the presenters: If you are interested in being a Potential Presenter, visit the Junior High calendar for more info!

In this beginner friendly class, we will create a mini loom out of cardboard and pins, and go over the steps to weave a mini pouch. This is a great introduction to weaving, if you have been curious. Bring a friend, sip some tea, make a friend, or get cozy and quiet while you get in the zone. By the end, you can bring home your finished project for your tiny trinkets. All materials provided.

Devon (they/she) loves being outside, cooking at home, drawing, and thrifting for yarn.Devon was shown how to weave by a friend when they first moved to LA 10 years ago, and keeps learning through books, videos, and many experiments. They are excited to share what they know, and connect with other arts and crafts lovers. Feel free to reach out! @devonnolte

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
