We are ritualistic creatures who we believe in practicing the letting go of what was instead of simply forgetting it ever happened.

After the pandemic, Kit Ket never quite fully returned. It forced Mise en Scéne to shut down its previous location and, once possible, to restart in a new one - one that is much better suited for their needs and rituals but sadly one that doesn’t allow for the queer entropy that Kit Kit brings.
We believe Kit Ket was site-specific, the freedom and togetherness we created there was unique to its location and design.
We are immeasurably grateful to Eduardo and the whole team for having allowed these gatherings to unfold beyond financial gain and with a much eager desire to build together this much needed type of space.

As we consider how to move forward if at all, we realize the state gentrification and neoliberal policies has left Lisbon in. Spaces close down, unable to support themselves, queer crowds unable to afford the costs of a night out. Despite our lack of faith that we could carry the energy we once created to a new space, even if we wanted to, we simply could not afford it. Raising costs would imply that the community that needs it the most, the community we always tried to reach and vouch for, wouldn’t be able to attend.

So we leave it as it was, in all its glory. Untethered and unbridled celebratory queer joy. Nonsense musical narratives that were free and freeing.
Thank you who came time and time again, daring to find yourself alongside us. The memories of transness being shared and indulged in all its imperfectness and complexity became core references for us that allowed us to feel free as well. We couldn’t have become who we are without you.

And for ONE LAST TIME, from 3 till 9PM, we gather at Mise en Scéne, not(!) as a house RAVE but as a cuddle puddle of psychedelic ambient beats. Join us as we reminisce and once more, in togetherness, accept the end of this chapter.

That same night we take over That Side at Outra Cena, from 00h30, to unleash the RAVEnous unfiltered sonic energy that was so unique and specific to Kit Ket, One Last Time.

after yesterday’s 6 hour set at poing in rotterdam our resident @ketia4ever has just touched down in lisbon to deliver us a long waited closing set we’ve been dreaming about since our last event at zdb. from draaimolen to new york, asia to australia and all over europe, this year ketia travelled all over the world to show us their vision and emotions through sound and we’re so proud to have experienced that from close and to keep sharing our love together through kaptcha 💙 to witness one of ketia’s rave paraphernalias is unluckily an experience we don’t get so often in this city these days so we think you don’t wanna miss this opportunity

this saturday at @outracena_lisboa we have de honour to finally listen and vibe to @europa.in.flames at one of our events, a moment that we’ve been collectively dreaming for years now 🥹 europa is an artist who works in sound, video and physical installation. music is his primary medium. his tracks surge upward and ahead, from fluid mechanics of his club bulldozers to the weightless expansiveness of his ambient cloudscapes. europa’s music is borderless, extracting the essence of styles and genres to warp and mould them in his image. his work assimilates pop, ambient, club music and beyond into hyperkinetic songs that pulse with precision-engineered life, meshing and melding feelings across the emotional spectrum to arrive at music both blissful and blistering.

we’ve been dreaming of making a kaptcha event for a really long time now. last time at zdb, for sasha theft’s album release party we got a short but powerful insight into the portals we can open through sharing the sonic landscapes that we together create

this time we are exploring the halls of outra cena to keep doing what we love most
to experiment with sound and connectedness in ever new ways

we want to thank gabrielle dessì and alessio bologna for their patience in these last months while we were scheming this release and for believing in our platform. we are thrilled that these beautiful tracks are finally out.

in their debut ep they blend dreamy and melancholic melodies with gritty drums using different electronic music genres as their framework. the result is something equal parts oneiric and violent, frantic yet peaceful; a highly rhythmic and bittersweet atmosphere carefully glued with focused choirs and voices.

in their own words: "Skin Fading is the first experiment of a long-term project that aims to convey multiple sensations simultaneously. the starting idea for each jam session was to generate very different emotions using melodies, drum sounds and create texture with vocal samples. these raw emotions packed with unpredictability and combined with typical club momentum, evoke meditative states while feeding the desire to dance in the listeners."

Firest is the italian duo of gabriele dessì and alessio bologna. we first heard their music in a weird moment in our label’s process. uncertain whether it would become a vessel for publishing more personal projects or a platform in of itself. from the first demo, Firest unique spin on production, recruiting analog synthesis, sensual vocal samples and distorded n glitched out percussion, helped solidify our view. their composition is experimental, flowing through hyperpop with a gentle touch of club music, and somehow, it all just feels intimate.
