I’m starting a vinyl only edit label simply called ‘KV Edits’

Each release will only feature two songs. One on each side. keeping it simple!

If you’ve seen me DJ in the past 2-3 years you’ve heard me play these edits. For me, It got to a point that people would come and ask me to play them before my sets, that’s when I realised they don’t just belong to me anymore.

Time meanders at the same pace as always but yet everyone seems to be living their lives as through they are stretching it out like elastic jelly through their fingertips, ignoring the virtue necessary to ride each moment.

At the end of patience always lies a reward. DJ Teeth, a veteran disciple of time, presents a sonic palette to Kasra V’s V-Sion imprint that is for only the most determined. Symphonic synths and acid swells ebb and flow, vocal samples move like auditory hieroglyphics scrawled on cave walls, and other hidden messages appear, but only for those who wait.

Patience will be rewarded.

Tomorrow, we're celebrating our Two Year Anniversary featuring @kasrav (he / him) We’re very excited to welcome back Kasra V as our second special guest! Kasra V is a London-based DJ and producer born in Tehran, whose deep passion for music has propelled him to success in both club and radio settings. Growing up in Iran, he had limited access to Western music, relying on state-funded radio stations and bootleg downloads. After moving to London at the age of 17, Kasra's hunger for new sounds grew exponentially.

Securing a residency at NTS Radio in 2014, Kasra honed his skills and showcased his eclectic taste in music. He has since broadcasted over 200 shows and hosted acclaimed artists such as Yello, Tangerine Dream, and Dream 2 Science. His DJ sets have graced legendary venues like Fabric, Panorama Bar, and Circoloco, as well as intimate community-building dance floors such as London’s sweaty queer party Adonis, Homodrop, Lion and Lamb, Fitzroy, and more.

As a producer, Kasra's releases are a fusion of diverse influences, ranging from ambient soundscapes and orchestral swells to touches of electro and elements of 90s rave, all completed with a nod to the history of dance music.This eclectic blend defines Kasra’s unique signature style. Since 2021, he has focused more intently on his productions, resulting in acclaimed releases on labels such as Radiant Records and Sepehr’s Shaytoon Records. Additionally, Kasra launched the Iranian folklore-inspired project Flower Storm with Sepehr, further showcasing his prowess as a highly skilled producer.
