A day in the Jato Valley and Piano Albareshe. 1. Lunch at the masseria. 2. Bread that’s the primogeniture of Angeli bread 3.Cows coming in from pasture to be milked. 4. Giovanni and his Caciocavallo cheese (not butter, not soap). The color comes from the high beta carotene in the milk because of the health of the pastures.

There has never been a better time to eat bagels in Los Angeles. While it might not be the carbohydrate the city is known for (that’d be tortillas), it’s one that the city does well. Over the past few years, several new bagel options have popped up offering exciting styles, flavors, and cream cheese varieties.

@khushandoj took @kcrwevan to try a bountiful spread of 72-hour fermented sourdough bagels from @mustardsbagels complete with toppings straight from the farmer’s market. Find the rest of Khushbu’s bagel shop recommendations at the link in bio. 🔗

Biscuits or cornbread? Fried chicken or ribs? We asked @bravotopchef judges and cheftestants at the Top Chef: Carolinas FYC event (with a panel moderated by @kcrwevan) to make some tough choices about their favorite Southern comfort foods.

Whether you prefer chivo or res, @tacosybirrialaunica makes some of the best quesabirria tacos in Los Angeles. Handmade tortillas, a richly spiced consommé, tender, stewed meat…

@el_tragon_de_los_angeles and @kcrwevan visited the truck, which parks on Venice by Fairfax, to prep for Taco Madness. The Final Four have been decided:

🌮 @tacosybirrialaunica
🌮 @tacosloscholos_
🌮 @mariscoscorona
🌮 @borreguitas_be

But only one will win the trophy at the live event THIS SATURDAY AFTERNOON in DTLA at Gloria Molina Park. Cast your vote now on LA Taco's website!

And listen to @kcrwevan get the inside scoop on the competing taquerias from @theglutster and @el_tragon_de_los_angeles.

Peaches aren’t in season yet, but you can get a subtle taste by using the leaves from peach trees. The flavor is subtle, like peaches and almonds. @tomat.la chef Harry Posner gets white peach tree leaves from @knkranch.

He steeps them in milk to make a peach leaf gelato, which he incorporates into a millefeuille with strawberry and elderflower compote, strawberry curd, and fresh cherries.

English. Snow. Snap. @kcrwevan tells us the many ways to take these little green pods and turn them into delicious dishes.

Even though it’s taken a long time for English peas to gain a foothold in Southern California markets, they are now a harbinger of Spring. Chefs all over the city compete for the small supply. English peas are the variety you zip out of the pods, but their cousins, sugar snaps, are abundantly available and snow peas are coming soon.

Look for them all at @finleyfarms and other farmers market stands.

@kcrwgoodfood Pie Fest with over 400 entries from adult and junior bakers. After judges announced winners, guests raced for handfuls of leftover pie samples.

Overheard: We had to walk away because he keeps trying to stick his fingers in the pie.
Our thoughts: Are you referring to your toddler or Will Ferrell?

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
