What to show, what to leave out, what still represents me today? Lately, I have been pulling together a summary of clippings, collaborations and campaigns for my portfolio. Not through deep research, just intuitively. A sweet memory lane down the years, with a fair amount of killing-your-darlings.

And as I turned everything into black and white layouts, it made me think of the media monitoring copies that arrived in brown envelopes on my desk. Piles of paper press clippings that told the story of years of PR work.

To everyone who recognizes any of these clippings, it has been a privilege to shape these moments together.

You draw an egg and end with a bunny.

From a simple line to the perfect picture. I guess there’s a metaphorical lesson in this, but I’ll leave that with you.

Happy Easter week-end

One year of Keep Communicating today. Never a dull moment.

I’ve learned more this past year than in the ten before. Finding my own voice, while building on years of experience. That brought energy. Perspective. Challenges. It wasn’t all hallelujah. But it did remind me why I do this. Bringing clarity to what matters, and shaping it into stories that land and connect.

A year of thinking and doing. Learning and developing. Projects coming, going and coming back. Some days full on. Some days giving room to breathe. Moving between different worlds. From sports to art. From strategy to launch. From deadlines to things that slowly take shape.

So grateful for the people around me. The ones I’ve worked with before. The ones I’ve met along the way. The ones I’m still working with. The ones who always have my back. People who care.

Here’s to the storytellers, the changemakers, the creatives, the mentors. This only works because of you. 💚

One of the most thoughtfully designed events I’ve been to in a while. No big stage, no ego-driven performers. The focus was on the guests. And on beans. Which felt surprisingly cool.

All credits to @fooddesignplayground for flipping the script in the wholesome food world. This could have easily turned into something dusty or granola. Or as they put it: this isn’t lentil soup in a sad corner. Instead, it felt elevated. Closer to a fashion or design event.

Initiated by @marije_vogelzang , and you can feel her design background in every detail. In the experience, the space, in how everything comes together.

A shout-out to everyone involved. We made houmous with mindfully self-peeled chickpeas at the long table of @dewildeboerin . Learned how to shake a purple cocktail with aquafaba (and a hint of matcha) from the lovely Jennifer @berryboxpics . And picked up the mindset of permaculture with @sylvia_avontuur .

Thank you @esther_coppoolse for shaking, mashing, tasting and finding our way through it all, sometimes blindfolded

A RULE WITHOUT CONTEXT. A MESSAGE DISCONNECTED FROM REALITY.

Earlier this month, standing on top of a mountain and surrounded by piles of snow, I came across a traffic sign stating that cycling was forbidden. No road, track or bicycles in sight.

Last week, during a lecture at @nyenrodebu by Ruben Dummer from @duwtje , we spoke about the kind of campaigns that make perfect sense on paper, but miss what is actually happening on the ground. We were reminded that communication starts with asking whether the message fits the moment, the environment and the people it is meant for.

Relevance begins when communication drops the blahblah and connects the dots that actually matter. It’s about reading the room, or the landscape in this case.

Turning thinking into story, and story into something that resonates.

Lately, much of my work at Keep Communicating centres on the growing importance of human connection and craftsmanship in how we build the future. Next weekend, this becomes very tangible in the Swiss Alps.

On 17 January, a small group will gather for Le Goût des Cimes, a guided winter walk in Sarreyer led by Francine Vogt of @monts.via , rooted in local knowledge of the Val de Bagnes. The walk connects nature, food, local producers and artisanship, and ends back in the village with an informal apéro in the barn at Le Baron Perché, hosted by @vanessa_rothschild .

On the surface, it’s a hike. In practice, it’s a living example of how meaning is shaped through community, seasonality and place. And in this case with phenomenal mountain views.

Working alongside Vanessa on the becoming of @le.baron.perche , I see from up-close how a space can unlock creativity and allow ideas to grow differently, more regeneratively. Often, it begins by daring to slow down enough to truly listen and connect with people in your network or community. Our meaningful conversations with Anna Nyren @annapannanyren this week were a powerful reminder of that.

If you happen to be in the region and feel drawn to a thoughtful way of spending a winter day, you should definitely join.

So excited to be working with graphic artist @piet.paris on the communication and positioning of his upcoming portfolio exhibition. The project centres on never-before-seen work developed through his recent studies and new graphic techniques.

Also very happy to be collaborating with @mariekeneleman on the social layer. Reunited, and it feels so good.

Net mijn BTW over Q4 afgerond.

Keep Counting

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.

Advantages of Anonstories
