Last August we spent two weeks in Illinois with our brother @zactez recording what came to be Almost Static.

Somewhere along the way, I was wandering down those familiar train tracks in Tolono full of thoughts about the time we spent trekking around America. All of it was coming back to me, albeit with some vagueness at this point. At its core, this album is about holding on to memories as tight as you can so they don’t slip away. It’s about taking the good with the bad and navigating the space in between when you can’t tell which is which.
