Alana Haim is a drama queen! What a joy to interview the musician-turned-actor for the California issue of @arabbitsfoot. We discussed her upbringing in the San Fernando Valley, working with Paul Thomas Anderson on Licorice Pizza and One Battle After Another, her upcoming role in The Drama alongside Zendaya and RPatz, and why her ultimate dream is to be a backing singer for Joni Mitchell.

The paper boys! Loved writing this portfolio of stylish men working in publishing today for this weekend’s @fthtsi. I visited Jonah Freud at @referencepoint180 where with @sophiadowsonc he has curated a beautiful library of rare art and photography books that also doubles up as a dance floor. (“If you can come in here and snog someone then suddenly that space doesn’t feel scary anymore,” he told me). I also interviewed Magma Journal’s @paulolivennes, @brunoceschel of SPBH Editions and Yuji Machida of @popeye_magazine_official - check it out! Thank you @jellison22 @bayasimons 🗞️

It was wonderful to interview Oscar-winning director Chloe Zhao in the FT Weekend about her upcoming adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet. With a backdrop of ambient music and the waft of essential oils, we discussed the guided meditation she opened the premiere with at Telluride, her early encounters with Shakespeare as a high school student in Los Angeles, working with Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, dealing with fandoms and parental grief. @ft_weekend

With Christmas truly upon us, resharing a recent article I wrote for The Guardian about Pillion (the “dom-com” debut from @hlighton) and why the best Christmas films aren’t really Christmas films, ft traumatic anecdote of seeing The Holiday with my family aged 12. Thank you to @jasebyjason for the commission!

I loved loved loved speaking to Renate Reinsve and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, leading sisters of Joachim Trier’s upcoming film Sentimental Value for the November digital cover of @arabbitsfoot . I spoke to the Norwegian actors about Oscar’s buzz, father figures and why it pays to find success in your thirties. Online now 😎

The Tuscan monastery of the British sculptor Emily Young, who I visited in July and profiled in the ‘Sanctuary’ issue of @arabbitsfoot (with wonderful photography by @issycarr_ ). At the centre of her home is a chapel whose roof caved in 1928, meaning most of its vaulted arches have been replaced by a panorama of sky. Young told me that if you sit still for long enough, you can see the stars moving: “They arrive from one side, and on the other they disappear because of the turning of the planet… It’s deep time you are looking at. It’s such a thrill if you can get there.” Interview online now

What a thrill to interview Marina Abramovic for the Frieze digital cover of A Rabbit’s Foot. I chatted to the artist in her dressing room a couple of hours before the first performance of Balkan Erotic Epic, her staggering 4-hour performance piece which draws on pagan rituals and is a total bender. We also talked about David Lynch, trash TV and being in her pink era. She told me - and Fatima - that we have great eyebrows, which is a compliment I’ll take to the grave. Online now!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
