This week, we’re featuring @knoops, the multidisciplinary designer who created our shower curtain ‘The Glitch’. She mixes digital and physical worlds into bold, colorful visuals and tactile objects, collaborating with names like CHANEL, Maison Michel, and Schön! Switzerland magazine.

What inspires your work?
I remix glitches from my VJ and digital design everyday background, bringing computer algorithms, and the beauty of error, into vibrant, material forms.

A favorite detail in your shower curtain design?
The way the pattern shifts as it folds reminds me of the moment I exported a PDF and it glitched – breaking into scattered bits of information that formed this unexpected design.

One thing you’d take to a deserted island?
A disposable camera, so the island could keep the memories long after I am gone.

What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?
Having my textile patterns cover an entire hotel room, on walls, bedding, curtains, everything. (Calling the amazing art directors behind ZigZagZurich / 4Spaces!)
