@kreesama a su montrer par son expérience et sa dextérité qu’il était l’homme de la situation pour assumer ce rôle 🥋

KREES est un danseur et chorégraphe Franco-Éthiopien. Il découvre la culture Hip Hop dès l’enfance, un univers qui le marque profondément et dans lequel il s’inscrit durablement. C’est à travers la danse Hip Hop dès l’âge de 12 ans qu’ il développe très tôt une pratique ancrée dans les valeurs, les codes et l’essence de cette culture, qu’il n’a depuis jamais cessé de vivre, nourrir et transmettre.

Très rapidement, il s’engage dans le Freestyle et la scène battle, un terrain d’expression fondamental dans son parcours, où il forge son identité, sa musicalité et sa présence. Il intègre les groupes FORZESOUND (Icee), SECTION C (Francis Mbida) ainsi que la compagnie ELAM (Léa Latour), enrichissant son parcours et nourrissant sa vision.

Au fil des années, il développe une approche personnelle du Hip-Hop Freestyle, construite entre instinct et analyse, avec une attention particulière portée à la logique du mouvement, à sa construction et à sa lisibilité. Il cherche une danse précise, cohérente et incarnée, où l’esthétique naît de la justesse.

Depuis 2010, il se professionnalise en tant que danseur-interprète et développe un parcours pluriel. À la fois danseur, performer, professeur et pédagogue, il transmet sa pratique en mettant l’accent sur les fondations, la musicalité et la compréhension du corps.

Au fil des années, il élargit son champ d’action vers la chorégraphie et l’accompagnement artistique. Il développe un travail de coaching scénique auprès d’artistes et s’implique dans la direction visuelle et la construction d’univers, avec une attention portée à la cohérence globale du projet.

Actif sur la scène belge depuis plusieurs années, il crée sa compagnie EESSA et développe une vision artistique axée sur les états de corps, les dynamiques du mouvement et les interactions entre individu et collectif. En parallèle, il maintient un lien fort avec la scène parisienne, où il continue de transmettre, performer et développer différents projets, nourrissant ainsi une dynamique artistique en constante évolution entre les deux villes.

En résidence technique au Pianofabriek à Bruxelles, on cherche, on teste, on ajuste.

Je l’ai créée il y a plusieurs années et je l’avais redonnée en cours il y a 2 ans au @centredancemarais.
Sur ce dernier module j’ai eu envie de la ramener en studio et de la revisiter avec le regard d'aujourd'hui 👓

Même base. Même #adn 🧬.
Mais plus de précision, plus de maturité dans le mouvement 🎯

C’est ça que j’aime dans la danse 🌀
Revenir sur une matière ancienne, la creuser autrement, la laisser évoluer avec ce que l’on est devenu !

La danse change.
Nous aussi 📈
