In 7 days, I get to share what I’ve been carrying for a long time. We Met At The Ocean -
MAY 22🌊
It took 10 years to become the woman who could write and complete this body of water.
Yet it took 1 full year March 2024 to 2025 to actually write and record it…simultaneously, there was a spiritual shift happening within me alongside the creation of this project.
I’ve had a tug-of-war with trying to create albums over the years, and it just never worked out. But this has been the fastest project I’ve ever written. It more so felt gifted to me, to give back to You. It is my soul, printed in sound waves.
This album is my own Book of Psalms, encompassing the full range of human emotion, beginning with the struggle of faith and arriving at something unshakeable. It is my life refined by God, set to sound.
I didn’t make this to fit into any box or for a specific audience. These are love letters and conversations with The Most High that became a musical offering.
To everyone who played a part in making this possible, my heart is eternally grateful!! Thank you for your time, your efforts, and the love you poured into this with me. My creative team, you are the BEST!

‘Cover Me’ OUT NOW. I’m standing on a boat, in the middle of the ocean. Holding an umbrella. This imagery is not by chance.
My Orthodox Christian roots begin in Lebanon 🇱🇧 and continue here in Barbados 🇧🇧 where the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo (unified) Church has been one of the most beautiful lights in my life - drawing me deeper into the knowledge and love of the Most High.
The Ethiopian umbrella holds deep meaning and is a symbol of the presence of the Holy Spirit, divine protection and spiritual covering.
This is my journey and eastern roots in visual form and this album is like my own book of Psalms, a testament set to sound.
No matter what comes your way or how high the waters rise, you are covered and protected.
