This project was incredibly meaningful to me. Street casting for a story like this revealed the realities of growing up on a ranch. I found the blend of hard work and the simplicity of living off the land to be striking. It’s a way of life I never experienced growing up, and capturing these moments showed me a glimpse into that world.

The moment you decide to put someone on camera and let them speak, the interview becomes a critical creative decision for the production.
These are frames from the film we worked on called First Light, a documentary shot in Svalbard, Norway. Swipe through and you’ll see a miner at the rubble of his childhood home, lit by arctic golden hour. A pastor placed inside her church so the fresco becomes part of her frame. An artist set inside her own gallery, surrounded by her work. A resident in her home during the end of polar night sharing thoughts on the first sunrise of the year. Every setup is intentional. The interview isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the story.
This thinking translates directly to branded work. Testimonials, brand films, founder stories, etc. If you’re going to show the interview, make it intentional. A poorly lit, lazily framed talking head creates doubt, even when the message is strong.
The b-roll matters too. Notice how each subject’s coverage pulls from the world they actually live in. The interview and the b-roll are always in conversation with each other.
Does interview quality register for you when you’re watching branded content? Or am I the only one! Because the brands that treat it with intention, their content feels more connected, more intentional, more like something worth watching.

when kris first told me he and the boys were going to the northernmost settlement in the world to make a documentary a few years ago, i thought they were nuts. they may all still be so, but now they’re nuts with a truly incredible doc to show for it - and i couldn’t be more proud of them.
i’m so grateful to have had the pleasure of watching First Light evolve from an aspiration into an inspiring and powerful piece of work. so excited to see where this thing goes from here and for whatever else they and @bluehour bring to life!

when kris first told me he and the boys were going to the northernmost settlement in the world to make a documentary a few years ago, i thought they were nuts. they may all still be so, but now they’re nuts with a truly incredible doc to show for it - and i couldn’t be more proud of them.
i’m so grateful to have had the pleasure of watching First Light evolve from an aspiration into an inspiring and powerful piece of work. so excited to see where this thing goes from here and for whatever else they and @bluehour bring to life!

Still looking back on this magical night. A sold out premiere of First Light in NYC, surrounded by friends, family, and colleagues. I can’t put into words how much it means to release this project to the world. After three years of work, the message and story behind this project landed just the way we hoped. It’s a love letter to the Arctic. A chance to escape to the edge of the world and to understand the lessons that come with that. We couldn’t have done it without everyone involved who put countless hours of hard work bringing this film to life.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
