NINJA 8b+ 🥷🏻🇯🇵 | Proudest send of this year so far.

The route was hand-drilled and first ascended by @stefanglowacz 39 years ago – an absolute masterpiece of a slab. For a long time the first 5.14/8b+ in Japan and Asia, and with only 4 bolts on 25 meters it is quite spicy 🌶️

Thanks to @domenskofic for taking on this challenge together, sharing beta, and making it a double send 👊🏻To the whole crew for the energy – and to our two legends @glowaczstefan & @yuji_hirayama_stonerider for the inspiration, belay, and support ⭐️

Turned out to be the first woman to climb this one – feeling honored to add my name to this list.

Winter said it’s time to pause, so I wrapped up my season on 'Des Kaisers neue Kleider'. Felt really good and pretty close on the last session up there – enough to make spring feel exciting already!!

Known for its technicality, exposure, and historical weight, the route tests even the strongest. After 3.5 days of projecting and onefinal push, Lara topped out, becoming just the 3rd woman to complete this legendary line

The road to the send was anything but smooth. “I wasn’t sure I’d even make it to the wall,” Lara said. “But somehow, I did.” After weeks of poor weather and uncertainty, everything came together in a single, focused effort. She moved through the wall with power and precision — rewriting her beta after a key hold broke — and sent pitch after pitch until she stood at the top.

This ascent marks the first chapter in her bid for the Alpine Trilogy, with End of Silence and Des Kaisers neue Kleider still to come.
