B. Creative provided several event styling services for the world premiere of @20thcenturystudios "The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" in Hollywood last week.
We had a great time creating an apocalyptic city jungle plant package, which took over Hollywood Blvd, including the traffic light high above the street! The lush jungle surrounded the 16' tall scaffolding towers as guests arrived onto the red carpet butbecame more apocalyptic at the end of the carpet wherethe stage wassurrounded by ovegrown, driedplants to frame the iconic cast photo.
In addition to sourcing tons of netting and hundreds of feet of faux chain, we were asked to create the giant red flags seen throughout the film. So after studinging the film in great detail, we fabricated (6) 14' tall red flags by using genuine alder woodsticks and heavily distressed red fabric to reflect the exact look seen in the film.
Our flags resembled the film so closely that two flagswe're relocated from the carpet and placed high above iconic TCL ( aka Grauman's) Chinese Theatre atop the enormous ape sculpture entrancecreated by @experientialsupplyco and @objectconstructionla. It will be up for another week if you'd like to see it in person! It's quite impressive.
The other four flags will be enhancing the guest experience along with a propand costume display at @theelcapitantheatre for the run of the film! May 9th - May 27th!
