Avec P.S Angel à la basse sur scène, ils rejouent des sensations propres au grunge, à l'art-rock tirant vers le shoegaze, et aux chansons folk - sans ordre ni raison précise.

elated to announce the first appearances of a brand new project very dear to my heart: HAPPY TRISTE. it's somehow the evolution of my solo adventures as lorraine92, but the songs are all new and they sound quite different... guitar based, grungier, happily melancholic as ever. carried by my encounter with Leo (bass) and Augustin (drums and vocals) - i feel the luckiest to be surrounded by these wonderful friends and inspiring musicians who have given so much time and energy into this music over the past months. sooo here's the page, and some shows coming up in december. premiering at Bongo Joe Geneva on 1212. it would mean the world to see your faces here or there ** love, Lorraine

Exactly a year ago, we packed up a small studio and took it to the Greek island of Tinos. It was off-season: quiet, windy, with more goats and cats than human beings - and somehow the perfect place to disappear for a while and make something together.

With the precious help of Amadeus Fries, we turned a former shepherd's house into a recording space and spent our days chasing sounds, weather, and ideas. No deadlines, no plan other than figuring out what our first release as Forever Overhead might sound like.

Now a year later, we’re finally ready to share what came out of those days: our debut EP 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 is out today!

It’s a small collection of songs about distance, illusion, and the strange calm that lives in the in-between. We’re so happy to finally let it drift out into the world : ) ( :

being off meta makes so much sense, but what are we supposed to do when our work and communities so much depends on it? i watched an interesting take on it on tracks (arte), recommend it. moreover i do miss the connection from playing less live shows lately, and music still brings me so much hope so i figured i'd share this cover i taught myself yesterday, i find it so beautiful, maybe you'll like it too? it's called *𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅* and was written by the amazing lisa germano (thank you @maniscalcomusic for introducing me to her music) 🕊️
