What does the LGMC mean to you?
I didn’t know many gay people before I joined the Chorus, so it’s been a great opportunity to meet new people, and understand that many of the things I’d been holding onto from being in the closet weren’t just being felt by me. I have made, and continue to make, lifelong friends as a result.
What has been a key moment for you in the LGMC?
Undoubtedly for me it was singing at the vigil for the Orlando Pulse club shooting in 2016. The tragedy happened in the early hours of the morning after our History show, and we quickly organised to sing Bridge Over Troubled Water at the vigil. After the 2 minute silence, balloons were released and we started singing. Thousands of people were standing on Old Compton Street who just stood and listened as we sang. It was a great moment to be able to use our voices to show solidarity with our siblings not just in Orlando, but globally.
Why should you come see MOMENTus?
This is going to be such a joyous celebration of 35 years of the LGMC. We’ll make you laugh, we might make you cry, but we’ll definitely leave you feeling uplifted.

At an outreach event during LGBT+ History Month in 2012 I was reminded that being LGBT+ is as much about history, culture, language, and community as it is about sexuality.

What does the LGMC meant to you?
The Chorus has become part of who I am. It’s given me a home, friends to hang out with, and a sense of real belonging.
What has been a key moment for you in the LGMC?
There have been so many. Singing with Sandi Toksvig in the Royal Albert Hall, for Katherine Ryan at the Palladium or appearing in Hannah Waddingham’s Christmas Special on TV were real highlights. But also some of the less flashy events we’ve been part of. The first Hand in Hand festival I went to in Cardiff in 2019 was really special for me, getting to know lots of new people in the Chorus (it was my first year), meeting lots of people from other gay choirs, and then singing on the iconic stage at St David’s Hall was amazing. Filled me with so much joy. As did the more recent tour to Italy. The tours and festivals are one of the things I look forward to most.
Why should you come see MOMENTus?
Because we’ll put a smile on your face whether you want us to or not. A tsunami of joy and fun will smack you about the face!

What a weekend!
Yesterday, our first Discovery Session brought some of those waiting to join together with current chorus members to rehearse, perform, and find their voice - culminating in a performance in front of 130+ people at the Actors’ Church, Covent Garden.
People were walking in off the street to simply hear the music.
As Olivier said: “I had no expectations but to check if singing could be my thing, and it definitely is.”
The first Discovery Session - and definitely not our last.
Watch one of the songs from the evening and see where the journey led. Sometimes, being part of a community starts with singing together.
As we near the end of LGBTQ+ History Month, we quiz our boys on what queer cultural moments left an impact on them 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🌈 Let us know what yours are in the comments!
PS. There’s an extended cut on our YouTube channel 😉: LdnGMC

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
