At the estate, our vines grow without any irrigation system, following the natural rhythm of the land.

To adapt to nature, we have set up water retention systems that capture rainfall and slowly release it back into the soil, allowing the vines to be nourished gradually and enabling the roots to draw the moisture they need throughout the seasons.

Nothing spectacular, but something essential: allowing the soils to remain alive, the roots to anchor deeply, and the vines to find their natural balance.

Au domaine, nos vignes évoluent sans système d'irrigation, en suivant le rythme naturel de la terre.

Pour s'adapter à la nature, nous avons mis en place des retenues d’eau qui captent la pluie et la restituent lentement à la terre, permettant aux vignes de se nourrir progressivement et aux racines de puiser l’humidité dont elles ont besoin au fil des saisons.

Rien de spectaculaire, mais quelque chose d’essentiel : permettre aux sols de rester vivants, aux racines de s’ancrer en profondeur, et aux vignes de trouver naturellement leur équilibre.

At the heart of spring, the vine enters a new phase of its cycle, revealing vigorous young shoots along the canes. Carried by the return of mild weather and the richness of the estate’s soils, it gradually unfolds all of its energy.

This is the time for shoot thinning, a patient and precise task that consists of keeping only the most balanced shoots. By relieving the vine of unnecessary growth, it can focus its strength on what truly matters and continue its development under the best possible conditions.

At this time of year, every gesture helps shape the promise of the vintage to come.

Au cœur du printemps, la vigne entre dans une nouvelle phase de son cycle et laisse apparaître de jeunes pousses vigoureuses sur les ceps. Portée par la douceur retrouvée et la richesse des sols du domaine, elle déploie peu à peu toute son énergie.

Today is Earth Day, so it feels very fitting to share the news that our coastal estate in Provence, Château Léoube, has been awarded B Corp status 💚

Since founding @leoube over thirty years ago, our philosophy has always been rooted in working organically and with a deep respect for nature. This enduring ethos allows us to produce wines and olive oils of great character and quality, while nurturing the terroir from which they come.

Romain, Head Winemaker at Château Léoube and Peter our Head Cheese Maker celebrate the launch of the new Léoube 2025 rosé wines.

Two artisan makers with a shared philosophy of respect for the land and organic farming, from our Cotswold farm and our sister vineyard in Provence.

Together they tasted the Secret de Léoube Rosé and Château Léoube Rosé, alongside a selection of Peter’s award-winning organic cheeses: Adlestrop, Penyston Brie, Double Gloucester, Cheddar and Daylesford Blue.

Now available, this year’s vintage is reminiscent of the coastline and terroir of the unique Provençal vineyard.

Léoube Supper Club with Head Winemaker Romain Ott 🍇

We welcomed guests for an intimate five course tasting experience in our private dining room, The Chicken Shed.

Chef Liam served a farm-to-fork menu, beautifully paired with wines from our sister estate Château @Léoube selected by our sommelier Yordan and brought to life by special guest Romain Ott.

The evening started with Sparkling de Léoube NVand seasonal canapés followed by a starter of slow cooked Daylesford hens’ egg with market garden fricassée, paired with Léoube’s new vintage rosés.

The tasting experience also included the estate’s award-winning white and red wines, accompanying poached cod with mussels, roasted Daylesford organic lamb with Wye Valley asparagus, and Cointreau and blood orange custard tart.
