VUODEN HUIPUT 2025 GRAND PRIX & VALOKUVAT KULTAHUIPPU FOR @ervinlatimer.fi
Thank you to the absolute best team @the_dinotino @silkkiomena @_piiaemilia!! Rarely, if ever, has creative direction been this effortless!
Thank you also to @lottanieminen and the juries of @grafia_ry for the recognition, and thank you @juhohut @oskar_koli @otsoreitala @kuvataidoton and all others who participated in creating the visual entity of the brand.
I had been booked to be a DJ many months before the shortlists came out, hence I was, to my absolute surprise, in drag accepting the awards. Keeping the wins a secret from me throughout the day was an Ocean’s 11 level smoke and mirrors game, lucky to have people around me who care so much 🥲 Thank you @kurkihovi @sophiawekesa @cocoxlanvin @maluwizz @_out_of_sync_ for the trouble 🖤

A passion project underway for almost two years is finally out: @ervinlatimer.fi puts all my designer collaborations under one roof and included are also lifestyle products that we’ve produced ourselves. All our own products are deadstock or recycled, naturally.
Sooooo many people to thank who helped me and gave me ideas: artisans, friends and loved ones, photographers and so on, but right now I really want to thank @the_dinotino for art direction, graphic design and overall steadfast vision with this project 🫶🏽

This year’s #MetGala marked the opening of The Costume Institute’s exhibition, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’. Found within the exhibition are two looks by @latimmier, the brand helmed by #Finnish designer @lervern - Watch as he takes us on his journey, from packing and shipping the looks in February, to seeing them framed within the exhibition at the @metmuseum.

Costume design for Industry Muscle: Five Scores for Architecture. Industry Muscle is a performance piece and installation by artist @teoalaruona and curator @kaisakarvinen commissioned by @arkkitehtuuri_ja_designmuseo that premiered this weekend at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia @labiennale.
Industry Muscle considers the trans body as a lens through which to examine modern architecture and the built environment, presenting five speculative scores that serve as critical prompts for future practice.
The starting point for the costume design was archetypal masculine garments in a state of oppressive pressure - something being forced to a preconceived mold and eventually broken free by a liberated body.
Textile design by @ellamustaniemi, an amazing MA student of @aalto_fashion. She created and developed techniques and surface for my designs, and also dyed, printed and applied finishes to all fabrics.
Photography used in prints by @heleniusvenla.
Thank you Ella for all your hard work and curiosity. Thank you Teo, Kaisa and the amazing multidisciplinary team for having me. Finally thank you to all sponsors and supporters:
Shoes sponsored by @camperlab
Pre- and post consumer waste fabrics provided by @lounaissuomenjatehuolto
My artistic practice is kindly supported by @kulttuurirahasto

One of the biggest honors of my career as a designer thus far just happened: two looks from @latimmier’s 4th collection are featured in the @metcostumeinstitute exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. The exhibition is divided in 12 themes and my works are under the theme Freedom, exemplifying works defying forms of racism through, among others, performative critique.
My work stands on the shoulders of Gladys Bentley and the Harlem Renaissance, ballroom culture and particularly the continuum of Finland-based Black & Brown artists, researchers and creatives whose work has guided mine. Defiance through design, protest through creativity, I owe that all to you.
Thank you to guest curator Monica L. Miller and everyone at the Met who I’ve had the pleasure to communicate with over the past six months. Also, thank you everyone who loaned the pieces back when we had sold them in sample sales to hustle and pay for bills.
First picture: @anssivallius; fourth picture: Michael Ochs Archive / Getty Images; last clip: idol @kingofbingo at the exhibition’s press event

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
