Save this for your next visit to Yosemite’s high country ⤵️

Tioga Road is typically open to vehicles from late May or June until sometime in October or November, depending on the snow. Plowing typically begins around April 15. And today, May 15th at 8am, it reopened!

Because of its seasonality, a visit to this part of the park is truly rewarding!

Here’s what you need to know for your next visit to Tioga Pass in Yosemite National Park:
𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁

➡️ ENTRANCE/EXIT
*The Tioga Road Entrance near Lee Vining is the most direct entrance. If you’re come from highway 395 this is the most convenient route.
*The Big Oak Flat Entrance is also a great option, especially for those coming from Northern California and The Bay. You’ll start your drive into the park and within 15 minutes be on Tioga Road.
*The El Portal entrance is most convenient for those coming from the 5 or 99 freeways south of Merced. You’ll reach Tioga Road in about 25 minutes upon entering the park
*The South entrance is the longest way in and I would recommend this unless you planning on spending part of your time in the valley

🥾 HIKES

Your Yosemite trip just got so much better ⤵️
AD | Heading to Yosemite? Here are the tips that will save you time, stress, and make your visit so much more enjoyable.

𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲 🏞️

🎟️ Purchase your entrance pass before you arrive
A park entrance fee is always required. Purchase your digital pass online in advance to skip the line at the gate. Or use your America the Beautiful Pass (Annual National Parks Pass).

📱 Sign up for real-time park alerts
Text “Yosemite” to 333111 for live parking and conditions updates throughout the day.

🕖 Arrive early (or go on a weekday)
Crowds and parking fill up fast, especially on weekends and holidays. Weekdays are your best bet for a more relaxed experience.

🗺️ Explore beyond the valley
The park is massive. Wawona, Glacier Point Road, Mariposa Grove, Tioga Road. There is so much to discover outside of Yosemite Valley.

🏡 Stop by the @yosemitemadera Visitor Center in Oakhurst
📍 40343 CA-41, Oakhurst, CA 93644 (open daily from 8:30am - 4:30pm)
Grab the latest maps, insider tips, and park updates before you head in. It’s worth the stop.

Which tip are you using for your next trip?

Comment “LINK” and I’ll send you everything you need to plan your visit.

Gardens you need to visit ⤵️✨

California is home to some seriously magical gardens, and if you’re looking for a dreamy escape, these are three worth adding to your list 🌸🌿

🌹 The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens (San Marino)
A must-visit in SoCal! This place is massive! There are rose gardens, a Japanese garden, lily ponds, a desert garden and so much more. Go early to beat the heat and give yourself at least a few hours to explore.
🎟 Admission: $29 on weekdays / $32 on weekends
📲 Book online in advance!

🌷 Filoli Estate (Woodside)
This Bay Area gem gives major Bridgerton vibes. The estate gardens are stunning year-round, but spring is extra magical with tulips and wisteria in bloom.
🎟 Admission: $39

🌸 Hakone Estate and Gardens (Saratoga)
One of the oldest Japanese gardens in the Western Hemisphere and looks out of a storybook. It’s smaller and super peaceful.
🎟 Admission: $12

Have you been to any of these? Or do you have a favorite fairytale garden in California I should visit next? 🌼👇

It’s waterfall season! 💦⤵️ details

The Mist Trail might be the most iconic hike in Yosemite, and for good reason. Whether you’ve got two hours or a full day, this trail is a MUST for waterfall season.

𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 🏔️

🥾 TRAIL OPTIONS

📍 Option 1: Vernal Falls Footbridge
~1.6 miles round trip | Easy-Moderate Paved trail to the footbridge with views of the falls Great for beginners, families, or short on time

📍 Option 2: Top of Vernal Falls
~2.4 miles round trip | Moderate-Strenuous 600 stone steps, steep and absolutely worth it Expect to get WET from the mist. That’s the whole vibe.

📍 Option 3: Top of Nevada Falls
~5.4 miles round trip | Strenuous About 2,000 ft elevation gain total Nevada Falls is massive in spring Return via John Muir Trail for different views on the way down

🎒 WHAT TO BRING

✔️ Waterproof jacket or rain layer ✔️ Trekking poles for the descent ✔️ Water + snacks (there’s a water fountain at the Vernal Falls footbridge) ✔️ Traction footwear, wet granite steps are slippery

🗺️ WHERE?

🚌Yosemite Valley Shuttle (Stop 16) or Yosemite Valley Trailhead Parking on Happy Isles Lp Rd (this adds a little more time to your hike)

⏰ PRO TIPS
Start before 8am to beat the crowds. This trail gets packed by mid-morning, especially in spring and summer. April and May bring peak waterfall flow, so if you’re going for the full experience, now is the time.

Which hiking option are you doing, the steps to Vernal or the full out-and-back to Nevada? Tell me in the comments 👇

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
