Huge thanks to @liamdixons , @amycash_ , and @tombond360 for coming through on a late one to pull this together, and Liam’s willingness to do it for the free fries. 🍟 Here’s to @wheeler_dealer96 for being the best sound op in the West, 🤠 @rosemcmahon_creative for cooking up this storm, ⛈️ and the fries, and @giant_haystack for having some tequilas the night before to come up with his look 🥴.
The whole thing was written, shot, edited, graded and sound mixed, in, you guessed it… 24hours.
Inspired by ‘Brick’ 🧱and ‘Deathproof’, ☠️“Knuckles” 👊is an homage to the film noir genre. Whilst introducing flavours of the kind of dialogue that launched the Careers of Tarantino and Ritchie.
What we learnt:
📽️Harness the full power that we posses. Although we downsized kit, we didn’t necessarily showcase the technology that makes us stand out. So learn to challenge ourselves to showcase what we’ve got at our disposal.
⏱️Don’t get bogged down in the first few shots, with 24hrs you simply have to keep it moving! Make sure that you have a specific schedule for how long each setup should take so you know your time constraints.
🎬 And make sure your exports work before minutes ahead of posting it…
All in all this rag tag team of kids pulled it off! But it’s all about the friends we made along the way… 🫂
