We’re excited to announce a new partnership between the Lids Foundation and Chance Sports, built on a shared commitment to expanding access and opportunity for young athletes in competitive sports. Together, we’re working to break down barriers and help more youth pursue their passion at a higher level while developing skills that go far beyond the game.

As part of this partnership, the Lids Foundation is proud to support Chance Sports’ competitive sports scholarship program, strengthening our collective mission to create meaningful, lasting impact in communities. Together, we’re investing in the next generation and helping ensure more athletes have the chance to compete, grow, and succeed.

Final Stop of Our Spring Series!

We are proud to wrap up our Spring Series with our amazing partner, Champions For Literacy. This spring, the Lids Foundation hit the road to Memphis, Houston, and finished strong in South Bend at Muessel Elementary School, bringing stories, smiles, and support for young readers along the way.

A special thank you to our friend Kedren Young, Notre Dame Running Back, who joined us in South Bend to read with students and share why literacy matters both in school and beyond.

Through this series, we have donated $15,000 towards library restocks, helping ensure students have access to books that inspire learning and imagination.

Thank you to everyone who continues to champion literacy and invest in the future of our communities!

We’re proud to continue our partnership with @shoesthatfitcharity for the third year in a row, bringing brand new shoes to 3,000 kids in schools throughout the U.S. this year.

Because access to proper footwear helps students feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn.

Spring Series | Stop #2

Houston showed us so much love at Collins Elementary School! Our second stop on the Spring Series with our partner @championsforlit was one to remember.

Huge shoutout to @k.aylaking and @_.jadej from the @uhcougarwbb for spending time reading with students and sharing why literacy matters both on and off the court.

To top it all off, we surprised the School with a check to help restock their library, because every student deserves access to great books.

Moments like these are why we do what we do. Onward!

Spring Series, here we go!

We kicked off our Spring Series last week alongside our incredible partners @championsforlit at Sea Isle Elementary School in Memphis, TN and the welcome was unforgettable! Cheerleaders lined the halls filling the school with smiles, spirit and excitement as we arrived.

Our friend @dallhayden1k read to the students, sparkling laughs and a love for reading. To keep that momentum going, the Lids Foundation proudly presented principal, @renee_meeks with a check to help restock the School’s library.

Even more meaningful, Sea Isle plans to ensure the new books include braille and accessible options to support their blind and hearing impaired students, because every child deserves access to stories that inspire.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make this day so special. We are just getting started!

We’re building more than playgrounds, we’re building community.

The Lids Foundation is proud to continue our partnership with @kaboom In past years, we helped fund multiple playground builds across the Baltimore/Washington, DC area.

This year, we’re taking it even further by funding a full playground build in Indianapolis and we’re excited to roll up our sleeves and help make it happen.

Our incredible Lids Teammates will be on site, volunteering their time to help bring safe, joyful play to kids who need it most.

Because every child deserves a place to play, imagine, and thrive.

This week, all of our DSM’s from across North America gathered for the annual Lids DSM conference. As always, the Lids Foundation was proud to host a meaningful volunteer opportunity as part of their time together.

With tons of energy and big hearts our DSM‘s packed 30,000 meals for hungry Hoosiers, helping ensure families across Indiana have access to nutritious food.

We are grateful for their commitment to giving back and for showing what it looks like when leadership leads with service.

What a day at Skiles Test Elementary!

Our @lids team had the absolute joy of spending the morning reading with students for @jumpstartkids Read for the Record Day. There is nothing quite like seeing a child’s face light up as a story comes to life, and we were grateful to be a part of that magic.

Through our ongoing partnership with Jumpstart, the Lids Foundation proudly supports early literacy by donating books and early reading curriculum to children and classrooms across the country. Because when kids have access to stories, they have access to imagination, confidence, and a strong start.

Thank you to the incredible educators and staff at Skiles Test Elementary and to Jumpstart for championing early learning nationwide. Together, we are helping build brighter futures, one book at a time.
