A continued partnership, creating real impact!
@Aldi UK has committed £1.3 million of apprenticeship levy funding through its partnership with Lifetime Training, supporting SMEs and partners including Partou Childcare and Bright Horizons
This funding will support the development of existing employees and the recruitment of new apprentices, helping businesses strengthen capability and grow their workforce.
It will also widen access to apprenticeships for under-represented individuals and those not currently in education, employment or training, creating clear routes into long-term careers.
As Lisa Murphy shares: “By gifting our levy, we are able to extend the reach of these opportunities, helping to foster a more diverse and inclusive workforce across the UK.”
We’re proud to continue this partnership, supporting businesses to grow their people and build stronger workforces across the UK.

Today’s youth employment challenge isn’t about a lack of ambition – it’s about a lack of access.
Access to opportunity. Access to experience. And access to employers willing to open the door.
Brilliant to see @mcdonaldsuk addressing this challenge head-on with the announcement of their new paid, in-person work-experience programme – the largest of its kind in the UK!
With 2,500 paid placements in year one, focused on communities where access to opportunity is lowest, the programme is designed to tackle the confidence and experience gap head‑on, giving young people real, hands‑on exposure to a real workplace. Coupled with their award-winning apprenticeship programme, this initiative could help thousands get into work and provide robust onwards development and progression.

We welcome the continued investment in workforce development through the Adult Social Care Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS). This is incredibly positive news for the care sector 👏
LDSS enables employers to fund high-quality training and recognised qualifications, supporting care staff to build skills, grow in confidence and progress in their careers.
Paul Ferguson, Delivery Director for Care at Lifetime Training, said:
“This is exactly the kind of intervention the sector needs right now. With ongoing vacancy and retention challenges, LDSS gives employers a clear opportunity to invest in their people.
We know that when staff feel supported, developed and can see a clear pathway ahead, they’re more likely to stay. The funding supports capability, builds confidence and creates stronger workforce foundations.
At Lifetime, we’re working closely with employers to turn this funding into practical, retention-focused workforce strategies that support long-term sustainability across the sector.”
The impact of initiatives like LDSS extends beyond the individual, helping to deliver:
• A more confident, capable workforce
• Improved retention and clear career progression
• Higher quality care for those who rely on services
• A more resilient and sustainable care system
We believe learning and development is about valuing people and giving them the skills and support they need to deliver high-quality care.

The recent announcement on apprenticeship reform signals a significant shift for learners, employers, and training providers.
Greater flexibility through modular learning and shorter apprenticeship units, particularly those focused on AI and emerging skills, is a welcome step. Employers have long been calling for more targeted training that addresses specific skills gaps.
“Refocusing apprenticeships on early careers is important, but we mustn’t lose sight of the valuable progression pathways that programmes like Team Leader and Operations Manager provide for the very talent the system is designed to support.” — Charlotte Bosworth, CEO, Lifetime Training
Leadership apprenticeships have played a critical role in developing capable managers. Removing funding risks creating a new generation of “accidental managers”, undoing years of progress employers and training providers have made in closing the management skills gap.
As the system evolves, it would be positive to see short courses or apprenticeship units linked to these pathways, ensuring progression opportunities remain while continuing to support upskilling, reskilling and routes into employment, prioritising opportunities for 16–24-year-olds while still ensuring routes into work remain available for those aged 25+ who are unemployed or receiving benefits.
We will continue working closely with our partners as the landscape evolves, ensuring organisations can still develop the leaders their teams rely on. Strong leadership remains fundamental to productivity, progression and long-term workforce growth.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
