Our limited-edition anniversary tankard has been specially commissioned by Lock & Co., and made entirely by hand in Staffordshire, England, using traditional methods which remain unchanged for over 250 years.
This English fine bone china tankard has passed through the hands of no fewer than 40 highly skilled and dedicated craftsmen in the Staffordshire potteries, ensuring unsurpassed quality and attention to detail. Featuring a beautifully illustrated image of our 17th century townhouse, and some of our most iconic hats throughout the last 350 years including a Top Hat, Bowler Hat and a Ladies Couture Hat which makes this piece both distinctive and highly collectible.

There are 350 pieces in total which reflect the charm and heritage of the brand; with each tankard being numbered from 001-350. Thoughtfully presented in a handcrafted, 350 anniversary gift box, which was made in the UK from 85% recycled materials, and featuring recyclable, biodegradable gold foiling.

In collaboration with TCDT, we have installed a window display titled ‘All Around My Hat’ which brings together work from several recent specialist workshops. The concept was designed by TCDT Trustee, curator and designer Simon Costin, incorporating Lock & Co. Panama hats and some of the students fabulous pieces. Together, these works create a layered and visually rich display, celebrating traditional craftmanship and demonstrating how historic skills can be reimagined in a contemporary context.
