The trio of violist/composer 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 @matchesse , cellist/composer 𝗟𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗵𝗹 @liairenekohl , and violinist/composer 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘁 @maciestewart, perform “𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 | 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲.”

Directed by 𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 @goodhaus , the film captures Johnson, Kohl, and Stewart in the empty auditorium of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, Chicago, doing a fresh take on a composition where instruments and voices are layered with analog tape loops to create a multidimensional abstraction of time and timbre.
