This one’s special…Now a core part of Banished Beats’ identity, Uplink (UK) returns to the label, this time linking with another Manchester icon - Madrush MC - who we welcome for the first time 🙏🏻

There’s a little back story to how this track came about that we just love. Madrush did some vocals for a 140 project that for one reason or another didn’t work out, but we still really loved the vibe of the lyrics. We just weren’t sure what to do with them without the perfect track 🤷🏼‍♀️

Uplink (UK) wasn’t even releasing by this point so we sat on them for ages just waiting for the right opportunity but nothing stuck.

After Uplink joined the label and absolutely smashed his first few releases with us, I knew who the perfect person was. I sent him the vocals, said work your magic, and boy did he deliver 😵‍💫

You’d never know that these two hadn’t worked together on this idea from day dot - which is testament to Uplink’s incredible production skills and Madrush’s unmistakable flow.
