What makes us human is our sensory knowledge and intuition. Cinema connects us with two–– sight and sound. Culinary arts, however, ground us to all five. By conducting a character study of a master of this craft who has lost touch with his sensory knowledge, I hope to tell a cautionary tale about regret, pride, and faith.
