Then tomorrow morning… for the 7th year, the tide and the first race flag will drop for The Malle Beach Race ‘Lucky No.7’… Then we race!

Two days to go! We’re going to turn Margate Beach into the most exciting beach in the country in just 2 days time and we thought you might like to join us!

The forecast is looking great and this year is shaping up to be the best Beach Race weekend we have ever hosted. Come and be part of one of the greatest weekends on the British coast and there is something for everyone...

Kick off Friday afternoon with a 100 mile Road-Rally across the beautiful Kent Downs, then on Friday night we’ll all meet at The Rag and Bone Man for The Pre-Party, meet the racers, join the race-briefing and learn the rules of the game. Then spend the weekend on the Beach with the incredible spectacle that is 500 wild and wonderful motorcycles from the last 100 years racing from Low Tide to High Tide in The Malle Beach Race weekend. We have delicious food, beach games for all ages, with ice cold Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, Ice Cream and Brixton Brewery Beers, live DJ sets from morning to night... and did we mention 500 beautifully inappropriate machines hurtling down the beach while you cheer them on with a cold drink in hand?

There is nothing quite like a day at the beach... with a motorcycle!

Back in 2017 we thought The Great Malle Rally would be a one off. A one time adventure, with the simple idea and single goal to complete the longest British motorcycle adventure from the Southern to Northern tip of our tiny island and then it would be done. But that’s not what happened…

When you put a seemingly random group of humans together, all with one shared objective, one collective goal, one mission to get every man, woman and Rally machine across a finish-line by whatever means necessary. That’s when the fun begins. That’s when the camaraderie builds, the Rally teams are often tested, bonds and friendships are forged in the highs and occasional lows of the adventure. We’re all out there together, often out of our comfort zone, taking on whatever landscape, weather condition or obstacle we meet along the road, together.

Each and every Rally team mate supporting each other through thick and thin. That’s what makes it the greatest week of the year, this annual British adventure, this motorcycle pilgrimage and a journey out of real life and into fast flow-state of thriving in the adventure, surrounded by great power who all share the same passion, who want the same goal, to get there, with as much fun as you can jam into every mile.

When you bring good people together, great things happen… 9 years later, 9 midsummer adventures behind us, 13,500 Rally miles later… over 1000 riders, mechanics, chefs, engineers, Malle Marshalls, drivers, shower-truck technicians, Marshalls, photographers, hosts, camp quartermasters, journalists, musicians, family and friends have completed The Great Malle Rally experience.

We can’t wait for the 10th year anniversary this midsummer, with a new and meticulously researched Rally route, 2500 miles from South to North, that now includes 1000 miles of The Wild Atlantic Way of Ireland and we’ve got some surprises in store for our teams this year…
