The Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 is one of the greatest hidden gems of the '90s. Essentially the wagon sibling of the Galant VR4, produced from 1996 to 2002 and never officially sold outside Japan.

Family practicality, Evo DNA. Sick 🤝

Featuring the 6A13TT 2.5L twin-turbo V6 engine, mid 5 second 0-60, AWD, brembos, Recaros and a Momo steering wheel; it's actually pretty crazy that something like this came off of a dealership lot.

A pretty big departure from the types of vehicles we see today, don't you think?

We're hearing whispers in the community of a potential Focus RS return, and we really want to know what you all think about it 🤔

Some potential specs could include:

Powertrain: A turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost engine paired with an electric motor for increased, instant torque.

Performance: Estimated 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds with an advanced torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system.

Design: Aggressive, wide-body styling with large air intakes, a dual-wing spoiler, and slim LED headlights.

Technology: Interior featuring a 12-inch infotainment screen running SYNC5, an updated digital cockpit, and performance-focused driving modes.

We're so curious about this after how the most recent generation RS was received by the community. A few nitpicky things aside, that was a pretty dang good car in our opinion 🏎️

With all of this Celica talk recently, it's important we don't forget about Toyota's current popular platform; the '86.

Though it seemed the Celica may replace this platform entirely, the conversation now points to the '86 and new Celica coexisting with each other, with separate goals in mind.

The '86 will likely remain less powerful than it's new counterpart, though, it'll likely pick up on some other improvements in the styling and handling department as well as a hybrid assisted powertrain.

Although the hybrid portion sounds gross, if implemented correctly, you'd see a gain in performance AND fuel economy. Truth is, that doesn't sound so bad.

A third generation '86 has not yet officially been revealed outside of the Toyota rumor mill, however, we could see a reveal as early as 2028.
