BOYS OF GREENLAND - a documentary project I’ve been obsessed with for the last 10 months, and two weeks ago I arrived back in Nuuk TO DO IT!!
This project was initially started by @madsschmidttt and @danegrace_work almost 3 years ago, and ever since then the project has taking many different forms. After my spontaneous 2 month trip to Greenland lats year, I fell in love with the country and the beautiful people, learning a whole new perspective of living by the nature and respecting the land!
Arriving back in Copenhagen I kept coming back to this project and the potential of the story.

In collaboration with @newbalancerunning, we present More Than Running, our documentary following the 9T7 marathon team in the lead-up to Valencia Marathon 2025.
Each runner is chasing something personal, time goals, breakthroughs, progress, guided by coach Laura and carried by the energy of the group. But not every journey moves forward.
When Selma is forced to the sidelines, everything shifts. What once felt like identity becomes uncertain, raising questions about purpose, belonging, and what remains when running is no longer there.
More Than Running is a story about ambition and setbacks, about community and individuality, and about everything running becomes when it’s taken away.

The Routine - a creative short
I wanted to create something that explored explosive and dynamic emotions, which I haven’t really explored in earlier work. Working with the limitations of one actor, one location, and only natural light from the mirror in the scene, we ended up creating af funny yet scary piece.

Then one-two weeks later, we found ourselves in the basement of Stengade with actor @anders_khayat and sound technician @jonskadhauge - whom we had just met a couple of days before.
When directing, you carry some kind of responsibility to make sure that the project turns out as promised. For this, I was pretty clear about “no expectations” for any type of outcome. We experimented, improvised, and played around. What we then found was that we actually liked what we shot so much that the experimentation kept going into the edit, and then grade, and then the scoring, and then sound… and then the screening we had yesterday.
Starting in commercial filmmaking, I never really shared any of my work physically - a billboard or client screening here and there, but never really saw reactions in that sense. This was interesting to me; it felt like the right way to set this project free.
