We are so excited to announce our song 'This Land' off our recent Album NYAA WA has been selected for the @environmentalmusicprize 2025!!!

We had a ball recording this tune and added samples we made from field recordings along the Central Coast with our native wildlife including the Kookaburra, Wompoo Fruit Dove, the Magpie, and the Bellbird which is found around the place and up on our Country.

'This Land' is inspired by the deep meaning and stories embedded in the Aboriginal names of places. Each name carries a history, a connection to the land, and valuable information about the area.

Through this song, we wanted to highlight the importance of these Indigenous names and the stories they tell, encouraging all of us to reconnect with and respect the true heritage of the places we live in.

We had such a great time putting it together using a combination of Collage Art and Green Screen. We really enjoyed cutting out pictures of our favourite animals and landscapes and making a scene with the different images and textures.

I'm honestly so surprised and excited this is happening. I never would've imagined playing my music with a live band this year if it wasn't for the founders Luke and Harley reaching out to see if I would be keen to do a show! Stars aligned and here we are, alongside the headliners!

This band is the beginning of a campaign releasing a 26 track charity album, coming out later this year or next. I want to welcome the amazing musicians on board for this gig.
