What an honor to perform my rendition of Hamlet with the Duke Ellington Center Orchestra at Symphony Space under the direction of Mercedes Ellington and Tony Waag. So many fabulous singers, dancers, actors, and musicians contributed to this unforgettable experience. Thank you to every single one of you!

‼️⚠️ ATTENTION ALL TAP DANCERS ⚠️‼️
This is not a drill. (Though actually there *will* probably be drills… and rudiments… and improvisation, and history, and jams, and choreography, and technique, and music, and footage, and conversations… okay okay I’ll just go out and say it… )
Mark your calendars for 5/22-5/25 as we are pleased to announce the Tap Dance Marathon NYC 2026 - a celebration of National Tap Dance Day at the Rhythmic Arts Center. We’ve assembled a superhero lineup of over 20 tap dancers/choreographers/educators holding workshops nonstop, ALL WEEKEND LONG at the Rhythmic Arts Center.
👀 Stay tuned this week as we’ll be dropping names of who’s coming a few at a time 👀
The Marathon aims to provide an opportunity to be in community with others, to learn and train intensively, and to share the love and joy of this artform. Come for a class or two, come for a day, or come for it all! (And if you can’t physically be there, come virtually!)
But the week’s events don’t stop there! Don’t forget to catch what promises to be a truly legendary show at the @thejoycetheater celebrating the 25th anniversary of @waagville ‘s Tap City, running 5/18-5/24, and Tap Dance Day shows hosted by @melialmaguer at @thejazzgallery 7&9p. Several of the artists performing will also be featured as teachers in our programming, so you can see them on the stage AND on the wood. ARE Y’ALL READY TO FIND OUT WHO???
Registration will open and preliminary schedule will be released this Friday 5/8. Can’t wait to see you there

🎷🌴 #TapClipOfTheDay:
Today, April 30, is the last day of April, the last day of Tap Dance Across America Month, and… International Jazz Day.
Jazz music is the reason we have come back to CALIFORNIA today. At La Terraza in New York City, Bella Silva (@bellarosesilva) and the audience experienced a blue skies moment a couple of weeks ago. Invited by Max Pollak (@max1poll) to a jam he hosts, Bella performed this solo with live jazz musicians.
So who is Bella Silva? Hopefully by now you know a little bit about her. Bella is a dynamic and versatile artist from SoCal, best known for her excellence in the American art form of tap dance. As a founding member and principal dancer of the acclaimed @reverbtapcompany, she brings both technical precision and expressive depth to her performances. Dedicated to continual growth, Bella actively refines her craft, delves into the art form’s rich history, and shares her unique artistic voice through her work. Her performances honor the tradition of tap dance while celebrating individuality and authentic self-expression on stage.
Throughout her training, Bella has had the honor of studying with some of the most respected and influential tap artists in the industry, including Karissa Royster (@karissaroyster), Leo Manzari (@leomanzari; @leochoreo), Sarah Reich (@sourtaps), Christy Hernandez (@christy.hernandez.1610; @christy_d4j), and her beloved mom, Leah Silva (@leahrsilva).
Her performance experience spans theater, television, and film. Career highlights include the “West Coast Desperados” music video (directed by Derek Hough and choreographed by Kelsey McCowan); The Nutcracker with American Ballet Theatre, starring Misty Copeland; L.A. County Holiday Celebration on PBS at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and Legends: An Original Musical at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

May Day Community Performance Fundraiser
Date: May 1, 2026
Time: 7-9PM
Location: Rhythmic Arts Center NYC — El Barrio, Harlem
An evening of wellness, rhythm, and collective support for community arts.
May Day has long been a celebration of workers, artists, and community solidarity. RAC invites all to join us for an evening of music, embodiment, and creativity, We gather to nourish the body, uplift artists, and sustain the cultural heartbeat of our neighborhood community.
As a community-centered arts space, RAC exists through collective care and support. If this work resonates with you, we invite you to contribute or join our recurring donation circle.
If just 500 people commit to $5 a month, we can sustainably cover our rent and continue offering an accessible home for artists, classes, rehearsals, and cultural programming in East Harlem.
Your support fuels the foundation of RAC—from rent, utilities, and equipment upkeep to the people who keep the space alive, including our Founder, Co-Directors, and administrative team. It also makes possible our community programming, artist residencies, outreach efforts, and continued investment in the studio as a place of learning, creativity, and cultural exchange.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps sustain a living, breathing space where art, spirituality, and community move together in rhythm.

Join us for Time Share this Saturday 4/25 7pm at the house 🏡 Hosted by @meg00sh from the RAC collective (she’s back!). This month’s Time Share centers on the theme of interdisciplinary explorations. We invite and encourage ideas/work/improvisation/play that span and intersect mediums and modalities. (Of course, as always, you can bring/do whatever is in your heart, but this can be a jumping point of inspiration and organizing principle if you’re uncertain).
Bring your friends, family, enemies, roommates, baristas, crushes, gamer bros, downstairs neighbors who you want to understand why you’re banging upstairs, etc., and tell them to bring their instruments, because we are going to vibe out once again at your favorite open floor in NYC with music, dance, poetry, art, technology, and more at the RAC 4/25.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
