So excited to show off my beautiful hometown, Bushwick New York, for Hypebeast ! I used to walk down Myrtle avenue everyday with ballroom beats playing in my heads phones and would pretend the streets was my runway. Seeing myself dance in these spaces that used to be so aggressive to the queer, young city kid felt healing. Thanks again to the crew who captured my story so beautiful, and to all of the New Yorkers who cheered me on as I dipped in the streets! This is for my fallen sisters who can’t vogue with us no more, we’re STILL here!
