Casper Faassen solo show

With ReCollected, Casper Faassen extends his gaze beyond simple visual representation, intertwining dance, vases, still lifes, and found objects in a single poetic flow, where beauty and time meet and challenge each other.
Since the beginning of his career, Faassen has explored the figure in movement and the stillness of composition, the fragility of objects and the grace of gestures. But it is in recomposing vases, ceramics, and fragments from the history of art that his research finds new intensity. The objects he photographs become testimonies of a resurfacing past, memories collected and transformed into images suspended between painting and photography.
Sculpture, understood as volume, material, and memory, becomes for him an essential element of visual language: not as a means to be shaped, but as inspiration and presence. Through photography, Faassen gives these objects a second life, a new time.
With the ReCollected series, the artist reflects on the value of memory and the beauty of imperfection, on the idea that every fragment retains the trace of something that once was.

On the occasion of Roma Arte in Nuvola, mc2gallery presents a selection of previously unseen works from the ReCollected series, which expand the dialogue between body and object, light and material, presence and absence.

@bastiaanwoudt
📸 Crescent, 2024

On the occasion of the next edition of @artverona , @mc2gallery will present a selection of works by Bastiaan Woudt, one of the most authoritative names in contemporary fine art photography.

Through his unmistakable black and white language, Woudt constructs a visual universe suspended between formal classicism and graphic experimentation. His photographs — made of faces, gestures, silhouettes and silences — explore the boundary between figure and abstraction, between emotion and composition.

Each image is an exercise in subtraction, where light sculpts the subject and shadow preserves its mystery. The result is a powerful and refined visual tension, which dialogues with the modernist tradition but goes beyond its boundaries with a profoundly contemporary sensitivity.

At ArtVerona we will bring a representative selection of his most iconic works, in dialogue with other artists of our proposal for 2025.

@artverona from 10 to 12 OctoberBooth G7 - Pav.12

@julia_fullertonbatten

Rivoli project, 2025

Anglo-German photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten, internationally acclaimed for her highly narrative and cinematic imagery, presents her latest project “Rivoli”.
The title refers to the Rivoli Ballroom, one of the last remaining historic ballrooms in London, preserved in its original 1950s atmosphere.

This iconic venue – which has hosted legends such as Tina Turner, Elton John and many others – becomes the perfect stage for Fullerton-Batten’s visual exploration, suspended between memory and contemporaneity.
Through strikingly staged images, the artist captures the unique spirit of a bygone era, blending the cultural history of the place with her distinctive photographic language, where reality and fiction coexist in a theatrical dimension.

With Rivoli, Julia Fullerton-Batten pays tribute not only to a monument of London’s musical and social history, but also to the evocative power of photography as a guardian of memory and collective identity.

BEYOND THE IMAGE: MATTER AND SILENCE.

Forget photography as a mere snapshot: for Bastiaan Woudt, the image is a surface to be sculpted. In his work, the first thing that strikes you is the density of the blacks and his almost magical ability to turn light into something solid—as if his silhouettes were carved directly from marble. The Dutch artist performs a true visual purification, stripping away the “noise” of color to offer visions that seem to exist outside of time.

The secret to his international acclaim lies in a unique approach that could be described as “digital painting.” Woudt doesn’t just portray; he manipulates textures with a craftsman’s sensitivity until skin, fabric, and landscapes take on the tactility of charcoal or the depth of velvet. It is a perfect bridge between the rigor of 20th-century masters and a sharp, pure contemporary aesthetic. Each of his works, whether born in a studio or during a journey through Africa, aspires to be a universal graphic icon, where the perfection of form compels the viewer into a meditative pause.

We are proud to bring this consistent and powerful vision to Milan.

SILENCE BECAMES IMAGE
Paul Cupido (NL, 1972)

Born on the island of Terschelling, where the rhythm of life is marked by the tides and lunar phases, Cupido brings a rare vision to the art world, suspended between the concreteness of nature and the abstraction of dreams. His work is not a simple documentation of the visible, but a spiritual quest rooted in the Japanese concept of Mu—the void filled with possibility—and in the sentiment of Mono no Aware, that sweet melancholy linked to the transience of all things.

His works are “visual haiku”: fragments of time in which the human body and the landscape merge, printed with an almost obsessive attention to texture and light, capable of restoring to photography that tactile dimension we often forget. We will be exhibiting his work next May at @thephair_photoartfair

A new chapter for our gallery begins today. We invite you to be transported by the vibrant silence of Paul Cupido.

THE ESSENCE OF THE WORK

Casper Faassen’s work inhabits a liminal space where painting meets deeply meditative photography. Rather than merely documenting a subject, the artist constructs a layered vision through the use of resins, pigments, and physical diaphragms. These elements create a visual distance between the viewer and the figure, transforming the image into an apparition that seems to resurface from the depths of time.

A DIALOGUE BETWEEN CULTURES

In this body of work, the discipline of movement engages with the aesthetic rigor of Japanese tradition. The figures, draped in meticulously chosen Oriental garments, perform within a scenic space where proximity to the panel dictates the clarity of the form: what is close appears sharp, while what recedes dissolves into the ethereal. This interplay of depth evokes the delicacy of silk and transforms the dance into a silent ritual between East and West.

BETWEEN TRADITION AND MODERNITY

Through this technique of “visual detachment,” Faassen elevates the subject to an almost sacred, mythological dimension. Drawing on the light of the 17th-century Dutch Masters, the artist reinterprets the concept of impermanence: the dancer is no longer just a body in motion, but a symbol of suspended beauty—a perfect equilibrium between the materiality of the surface and the intangibility of a dream.

Nino Migliori in the FRAGILITY exhibition.

- The Dance of Life and Death

Nino Migliori, born in Bologna in 1926, is one of the greatest masters of Italian photography and a tireless explorer of vision.
With the Lumen project, the artist performs an ancestral gesture: he portrays masterpieces of Italian sculpture, illuminating them exclusively with candlelight.
Renouncing modern artificiality, Migliori restores the stone’s original vibration, allowing the marble to breathe in a play of warm, shifting shadows.

In this spiritual chiaroscuro, details emerge from the darkness with a delicacy often obscured by electric light, transforming the relationship between space, time, and matter. It is a pure and universal vision that has established Migliori as a giant of contemporary visual culture, bringing his works to the permanent collections of the world’s most prestigious museums, from MoMA in New York to the Centre Pompidou in Paris. A quest that doesn’t stop at the surface, but becomes an eternal bridge between the history of art and the mystery of light.

TURN TO THE SKY

Marco Tagliafico’s project “Turn to the Sky” is a profound investigation into the relationship between the artist’s will and the autonomy of nature. The title itself is not a simple label, but a layered semantic manifesto: it encompasses the physical act of positioning the canvases toward the zenith, the metaphysical desire to communicate with a divine dimension, and the vulnerability of a cry for help.

It is a work born in the silence and darkness of the darkroom, where the canvas is prepared with a photosensitive emulsion linked to cyanotype, before being delivered to the brutality and beauty of the outside world. In this transition from the protection of the shadows to total exposure, the work ceases to be a static object and becomes a living process.

Céline Croze – Nothing Happened Project

With the project Nothing Happened, Céline Croze investigates the invisible tension that lurks in seemingly ordinary places, where the precarious balance between normality and anxiety gives rise to a sense of suspension. Through images that oscillate between documentary and staged, the artist constructs a visual language capable of transforming everyday details into omens, conveying the perception of an imminent event that, however, never comes to pass.

Croze works on the threshold between reality and imagination: each photograph is a fragment that retains the echo of what we do not see, an “off-screen” made of silences, expectations, and tensions. The viewer is thus invited to confront the ambiguity of reality, where the unsaid and the invisible take on a greater weight than what appears on the surface.
With Nothing Happened, the artist questions our ability to observe and remember, evoking the fragility of collective memory and the vulnerability of individual experience. It’s a work that questions the gaze, forcing it to pause in that zone of uncertainty where images cease to be pure representation and become emotional spaces, open to interpretation and personal projection.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
