“I wish summer break would end sooner because I’m ready to be at school with my friends.” - @oliverkateee every summer for the last 12 years. she’s gone to so many schools and no matter what her feelings about it are exactly the same as that first day of kindergarten photo. so here we are, the last first day. catch me teary most of the time - because I’m so proud of her, so grateful for her, so excited for her, so sad she’s not little, so happy she’s not little, in shock that we’re already here, worried about what I’ve missed, etc etc. I’m pretty emotional. cheers to the class of 2026 and to my oliver kate 👼🏼 this is going to be so fun.
