The King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard drummer is joining us to celebrate the release of Sojourn, his second solo album of instrumental spiritual jazz, prog and Krautrock. Plus, he's bringing Sojourn's producer and fellow drummer Jim Rindfleish of Melbourne jazz-fusion outfit Mildlife along for the... ride (ba-dum-tss).
Together the pair have lined up a playlist spanning their drumming influences, including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Kraftwerk, Earth Wind & Fire, Talking Heads, The Police and plenty more.

CAVS launches the record in style on 22 May at the Thornbury Theatre with an all-star band featuring some of Australia's best players giving the music the treatment it deserves.
