Behind the scenes footage of me working on my new song CRUSH

Had so much fun making this! I filmed a green screen plate of me acting out the movements and ran that through @beeble_ai to generate VFX passes that allow me to relight the green screen footage in 3D. Then I built the scene around that and animated the hammer/machines according to my movements. I’m going to post some videos about it later!

I held onto this song for soooo long! I started working on it in 2021 and right when I was getting ready to release it, Ray Volpe dropped his song Laserbeam that went absolutely stupid viral lmao. It felt silly to drop another laser beam song during that period so I held onto it. I kept working on it and it went through so many different versions and iterations. Eventually I just kinda decided I wouldn’t put it out; it felt like the time had passed. It was a great secret track to drop in sets though! Years later I found myself still loving it, so when I sent some music over to @localvoidrecords I threw it in as a fun wild card. So happy I did, because they loved it too and it forced me to finally put it out! Hope you dig it 🙌🏻😵‍💫

I wasn’t sure where this song would fit in. It’s a weird blend of styles and sounds that ends in a pretty difference place than it starts, but I love making stuff like this! I’m thankful that Local Void can be a place for artists that like to venture into multiple areas.
