🆘 This is the Berlin Wall of our generation.
Iranians are demanding an end to a 45-year dictatorship. The regime has imposed an 80+ hour communications blackout while civilians face lethal repression.
Swipe to learn what’s happening, why it matters globally, and how to support the people of Iran.
Please only support accounts that back the transitional leader. This moment requires clarity and discipline.
Anyone framing this as “anti-imperialism,” focusing solely on sanctions, or pushing appeasement is advancing a reform agenda. No more reform. No more reform narratives.
This regime has survived because reform advocates in the West have flooded the media—softening language, redirecting blame, and refusing to demand real change. That is why the regime silenced Iranian voices: so the only voices heard are those that do not call for transition.
There is no reform under dictatorship.
There is only transition to a referendum and Democracy.

Foreign influencedlobby groups have been occupying Washington, D.C. for a long time.
Many more Americans have come to understand how lobbying shapes foreign policy over the past two years, especially through the ongoing situation in Palestine/Israel.
One organization that has not been widely scrutinized for its role in shaping Iran policy is the National Iranian American Council (@niacouncil ). was founded by Trita Parsi, now at the @quincyinst , and NIAC has been publicly associated with advocating for diplomatic engagement, including around the JCPOA (the nuclear deal). In my view, that debate too often failed to center the regime’s human rights abuses and reduced pressure on the Islamic Republic.
NIAC claims to represent Iranian Americans. Based on NIAC’s public agenda and messaging over time, I believe it has emphasized “reform” and “engagement” frameworks more than clear, consistent accountability for the Islamic Republic’s human rights abuses.
Don’t take my word for it—look at NIAC’s feed this week. In the middle of a human rights crisis, the Iranian people aren’t centered, and the regime isn’t named with the urgency this moment demands.
The era of reform and reformists is over. Iranians are demanding regime change.
And a request to the media: Stop platforming reformists as the default Iranian “opposition.” Iranians I know have come to reject NIAC. If someone’s record is overwhelmingly tied to “reform” narratives, give that seat to voices calling for regime change—because that’s what Iranian people are asking for in the streets.

As Iranians around the world are celebrating Nowruz, a rainbow appeared in Tehran.
This beautiful sign of nature has given hope to many people and reminded us of Kian Pirfalak who introduced us to the God of Rainbow.
On this day of rebirth, we wish all of you the rebirth of a free Iran, we wish love, happiness and a normal life to everyone.
Our thoughts are with all the people who are no longer with us. We think of all the people who kept the flame alive all this time.
May this Nowruz be the last we have to celebrate apart from each other.

💡 As Iran’s military activity slows, attention should shift to its young population—a potential “coiled spring.”
Cathie Wood explains in “In The Know” why a generation waiting for opportunity could accelerate innovation across the Middle East.
We have a vision and deep resolve 🙏🏽💥
Years later, Barack Obama acknowledged that he regretted how his administration responded to Iran’s 2009 Green Movement, when millions of Iranians took to the streets to protest a disputed presidential election. At the time, the United States took a cautious approach, concerned that overt American support might allow the Iranian regime to portray the protests as a foreign-backed effort. Reflecting on that moment more than a decade later, Obama said he believes the U.S. should have spoken more clearly in support of the Iranian people’s demand for freedom and democratic rights, emphasizing the importance of publicly standing with movements that seek greater liberty and accountability.
“Seeing the war in Iran, I feel a profound sense of sadness for the deaths of innocent Iranians. But I hold the Iranian regime responsible for it, because I think they have put the country on a warpath for 47 years. They have pursued policies that make conflict almost inevitable, and they seem willing to pay the price for those policies with the lives of ordinary Iranians.” — Abbas Milani
Hearing this is incredibly painful.
Abbas Milani is one of the most respected historians and scholars of modern Iran. He directs the Iranian Studies program at Stanford and has written some of the most important books on Iran’s modern political history, including The Shah, Eminent Persians, The Myth of the Great Satan, and The Persian Sphinx.
What makes this moment even harder to hear is that Milani himself once supported the 1979 revolution as a young intellectual, believing it might bring justice and reform to Iran. Like many in his generation, he later watched those hopes collapse into authoritarian rule.
Iranians are not naïve but this desperation for change can’t be exploited. We need the war to end and turn the page to transitional leadership.
Iran is occupied by the Islamic Republic.
Whether Democrats Republicans or the Western left want to acknowledge that or not, these are the facts.
Iran is trying to restrain Trump by shaping American public opinion against the war. He is now the sixth US president since 1979 consumed by events tied to Iran.
Regime change is non negotiable.
A Democratic Iran awaits us if we have to courage to hold Democrats, Republican and the International community accountable.
"Anything less than regime change is a failure for the American people, and a failure to the Iranian people."
