Dog Admission Days at The Morton Arboretum might officially be one of our favorite dog-friendly things to do in Chicagoland 🐶🌳AD

On select dates throughout the year, dogs are invited to explore the beautiful trails alongside their humans, and it makes for such a fun family outing. Between the fresh air, gorgeous scenery, and miles of walking paths, our pup had the BEST day exploring all the sights and smells.

Right now, you can also spot the incredible Vivid Creatures sculptures throughout the arboretum which adds even more fun for kids and families while you walk. It’s such a unique experience and a fun family outing that feels relaxing and adventurous at the same time.

Summer 2026 Dog Admission Dates:
• Sunday, June 14: 9AM–sunset
• Tuesday, June 23: 3PM–sunset
• Sunday, July 5: 9AM–sunset
• Sunday, July 19: 9AM–sunset
• Sunday, August 9: 9AM–sunset

A few things to know before you go:
🐾 Dog admission is $7 per dog ($6 for members) and regular admission is still required for non-members
🐾 Bring waste bags, water bowls, and plenty of water for your pup
🐾 Expect LOTS of walking and plenty of space to explore
🐾 Don’t skip the pup cup at the Visitor Center after your walk (it is $1) 🩷
