We had @mxreference on the @troyleedesigns @racetechinc @danielblair125 Matthes Show a while back and we, along with @kellenbrauer, started talking about our sports Mt Rushmore. We had RC/MC/RV as locks and then started yelling at each other about Dungey, Stew and Tomac and whomever else for the last spot. To me, you can’t ignore JS7’s win %, OA wins, laps led etc even though I know he doesn’t have the titles. Others think differently. Anyways on PulpMX.com, @mxreference helps to break it out. In the last 10 years, the rider with the most pole positions has only won the 450SX title twice.
Ken Roczen had two pole positions this year. In Cooper Webb's three titles, he has just two total pole positions.

2020s (so far): 27.02
- The average age of riders in the 450SX main in 2009 was 24.82 years old, in 2025, it was 29.91
