A Creative Movement Workshop!
This workshop invites you to explore movement (dance) as a language of feeling, memory and expression. Through guided prompts and breatheork, we gently question how the body has been shaped and how it can reclaim space.
Led by Malini Ganeshan who is building The Era of Movement, a Creative Arts & Dance Movement Therapy practitioner with over 20 years of training across diverse movement and art disciplines this session aims to help you listen to your body, express through it and rediscover your innate capacity to move.
This workshop is a part of building The Era of Movement as a space for body literacy, expression and collective exploration.

What is a creative movement workshop?
We explore movement as a language: one that holds memory, emotion, resistance, pleasure and possibility. Through guided prompts, improvisation and collective witnessing, we begin to notice how the body has been shaped by society, by expectations, by silence.
This space is open to all genders and bodies, ages group 18 - 55.
No prior dance experience needed
We move to:
• build body awareness and safety
• unlearn rigidity and judgement
