DRIFT — Yin & Sound

Slow down. Soften. Let yourself be carried.

DRIFT is our first event of the year, a 90-minute immersion of yin yoga and live sound, and an invitation to begin gently. A space to settle, unhook, and drift beneath the surface of things. Long-held postures invite the body to release while musicians and friends of Shared Space, @jessiemonkmusic & @n0less, create spacious, tide-like soundscapes that move around and through you.

With ambient textures, live instrumentation, and grounding Zen Thai–inspired touch from Sammy and Hope, this is an evening to rest in stillness, let attention loosen, and allow the nervous system to recalibrate. Nothing to achieve, nowhere to go.

Its very close to my heart.

Its about the immense fear, grief, pain, and love that comes with caring so much about our world.
And turning towards all of them with an open heart.

were gonna be playing a stripped back duo set at @baroussou this thursday night from 7pm to 9pm.

This is 2/6ths of the band, playing 1/2 a song i wrote recently, called wind friend 🌀

If you listen carefully, u may hear a cat fight in the distance 🐈‍⬛️🖤

I am verrryy excited to announce ill be playing a show with my full band in December.

This will be a chance to share the last few years of songs, revelations, explorations, inspirations etc.

This is a shout out to my good friend, old housemate, edible plant expert 🌱, guitar virtuoso, musical wizard, and just a gem of a human @robbiebelchamber.

Robbie has been inspiring to me for years now, and has been a big part of my musical journey. And he’s just about to release an album of original nylon guitar tunes!!🌟. As humble as he is about it, I find this music so enchantingly beautiful.

It’s an honour to be playing electric guitar with him at the upcoming launch as well as singing a song from the album we wrote together called ‘Run off’.

Tomorrow afternoon we’ll also be on PBS!
A scaled down version of Friday nights band, @gracer.obinson , Robbie and I will be playing a couple of songs from the album on @headhunterspbsfm from 5-7pm. Toon in!

If you’ve made it this far in the post, well done for the social media attention span - I’ll also be playing a solo support set at the gig this Friday playing a bunch of my new(ish) songs. 🧚
