Natkniemy się na moce voodoo, naukowe metody badacza mózgu, buddyjski pogląd na śmierć, byłą aktorkę porno i jej przemyślenia o przyjemności, bankiera i jego ekstatyczne potrzeby, i wiele więcej…

Ekipa filmu spędziła dwa lata podróżując po świecie w poszukiwaniu ludzi i ich sposobów na życie, odzwierciedlając świat na progu 2000 roku.

W 1999 r. film otrzymuje nagrodę „Certificate of Merit” przyznawanąna międzynarodowym festiwalu filmowym w San Francisco w kategorii Film & Video - Society and Culture-International.

12 maja o 19:00 zapraszamy Was na Kinarocz poświęconą filmowi „Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie” Matt i Jay od lat próbują zagrać koncert w klubojadalni Rivoli. W wyniku sprzeczki po nieudanym planie cofają się w czasie do 2008 roku, gazie podejmą decyzje rzucające się cieniem na ich wieloletnią przyjaźń.

NTBTSTM to tryumf niezależnego filmmakingu i jedna z najlepszych komedii ostatniej dekady. Przed pokazem postać reżysera Matta Johnsona przybliży kozik @inhuman.resource

Film po angielsku z angielskimi napisami 🇬🇧

Eindrücke vom Auftritt von IDKLANG. Ein Abend voller experimenteller Elektronik, Noise und Industrial, die den Club in eine ganz eigene Atmosphäre verwandelt haben. Das Konzert fand im Rahmen des Events Umbra in Zusammenarbeit mit den drei Kollektiven Chim.æ.ra, DEKONSTRUKT und N13 statt. Vielen Dank an alle, die dabei waren.

Wrażenia z występu IDKLANG. Wieczór pełen eksperymentalnej elektroniki, noise’u i industrialu, które przekształciły klub w zupełnie wyjątkową atmosferę. Koncert odbył się w ramach wydarzenia Umbra we współpracy z trzema kolektywami: Chim.æ.ra, DEKONSTRUKT i N13. Dziękujemy wszystkim, którzy byli z nami.

Kin(y)arocz 06.05 ദ്ദി(◝ ⩊ ◜).ᐟ ⊹ ࣪ ˖
Kilka tygodni temu wznowiliśmy spotkania kinaroczy puszczając „Smak wiśni”, który został nagrodzony palmą w Cannes w 1997 roku, a w najbliższą środę obejrzymy film który wraz z dziełem Kiarostamiego ex aequo otrzymał tą samą nagrodę czyli „Węgorz” w reżyserii Shōhei Imamury.
Film opowiada historię Takury- biznesmana który przyłapuje swoją żonę na zdradzie w wyniku czego morduje ją w napadzie szaleńczego gniewu i odrazu oddaje się w ręce policji. Po 8 latach wychodzi z więzienia i otwiera salon barberski, wycofany społecznie głównie odzywa się tylko do złowionego podczas odsiadki tytułowego węgorza, jego życie z powrotem nabiera tempa kiedy zapobiega samobójstwu młodej kobiety.
„Węgorz” to obraz wyrzutów sumienia, zróżnicowanego podejścia i odbioru społecznego przestępców, metafora seksualności i resocjalizacji.
