It's the role of art to invigorate our minds and hearts, to inspire new ways of perceiving, being, and connecting with the world by elevating our spirit and emotional intellect.
It is always with deep respect and honor which I enter churches to perform in, where I openly and kindly meet people of all faiths, so we can come together to present moving concerts of my music.
We are very sad and angered that my planned concert on Saturday night was forcibly cancelled due to protests from far-right Catholic integralists. This demonstration has only strengthen my artistic vision and motivations, and I will certainly continue to perform my music in churches throughout the world.
