The Safety Box is proud to be a committed delivery partner within the North Brixton Partnership @nb.biglocal in Lambeth, working collaboratively to tackle serious violence and provide targeted, preventative support to young people most at risk within the community.

This partnership represents more than alignment it is joined-up, action-focused work grounded in trust, accountability, and a shared determination to change outcomes for young people who are too often exposed to harm, exploitation, and cycles of violence. Each partner organisation brings specialist expertise, local insight, and lived understanding, enabling early intervention, sustained engagement, and credible pathways away from violence.

The Safety Box is deeply encouraged by the seriousness with which all partners approach this work. From frontline practitioners to strategic leads, there is a clear commitment to evidence-based practice, intelligence-led responses, and trauma-informed support that places the needs, safety, and potential of young people at the centre.

We are particularly grateful for the continued investment into violence-reduction initiatives across the area and for the strengthening of partnerships on the ground. At a time of financial pressure and increasing demand, this collective approach demonstrates what is possible when resources, relationships, and resolve are aligned.

Together, the North Brixton Big local Partnership is showing that violence is not inevitable, that prevention is possible, and that when communities and systems work in unity, young lives can be protected, redirected, and empowered to thrive.

We’ve now delivered 20 weeks of FREE community sessions 🙌

Thanks to funding from @nb.biglocal, we’ve been able to provide consistent, high quality football sessions for young people in Angell Town, Brixton every Friday.

Yesterday, Circle of Life Ignite was set and is part funded by NBBL to run this beautiful flower arrangements workshop

This is a support group for Women who have lost a child to violent youth crime, to come together to share experience in various therapeutic workshops.

One of the participants added:
"My god, absolutely beautiful, what colours and arrangements. Truly heart lifting well done everyone, so creative, amazing!"
