Tickets are selling at pace for the May 23 night at new river studios. The night is curated by Dauns and Mirror TV with the unflinching support of Rocket Recordings, @ukaea_ many others. 2 more weeks to go to fill the beautiful room! 

On May 24 Flowers Must Die, @ved.sound will join Sons of Viljems at the amazing @folklorehoxton for a second show in this cosy little venue.

This will be an event dedicated to consecrate the first collaboration between FMD and Sons of Viljems.

The Swedish crew has remixed 'Liminal' giving it a spin towards the celestial. 

A snippet of the angelical diabolical track is here. As usual our long time collaborator and friend @freserok made a stupendous video for this. We can't thank you enough.

ARTIFICIAL GO hail from Cincinnati, USA, and bring the beat to life with their New / No / Whatever Wave weirdness! Last year they released ‘Musical Chairs’, building on 2024’s ‘Hopscotch Fever’, an album of ten existential post-punk chamber pop tracks. Recorded at Lambda Research and the haunted attic of the band’s house, the core trio of Angie Willcutt, Micah Wu, and Cole Gilfilen have traded the sparse jangle of their debut for a broader, fuller sound. ‘Musical Chairs’ deftly meshes the angular excitability of ‘Hopscotch Fever’ with a spectral warmth and expensiveness able to encompass acoustic guitars, Wu’s almost metaphysical funk bass lines, tape loops and blips and bleeps, a guest spot by Eric Dietrich (of The Drin and Sorry Eric) on saxophone, and Gilfilen’s hip moving boom-bap drumming add to the excitement.

In Willcutt’s hands, the struggles, and at times terrors, of our current age are playfully subverted with agile world play and dynamic vocalization that moves from sweet and dreamy to cartoonishly exaggerated as she charts an emotional course through such topics as the difficulties of playing the role of “woman” in a misogynist world (“Playing Puppet”) or the injustice of anthropocentric hierarchy (“Tightrope Walker”). Musical Chairs is serious music not meant to be taken too seriously, a playful act of resistance, a meditation on the good and bad of this world, and ultimately a remarkable statement on the continuing growth of Artificial Go. Artificial Go have just announced a new 7” EP titled ‘Triple Ones’ on Carpark Records too!

Delighted to be doing another Oh Community all dayer at London’s New River Studios on Sunday 28th June!

Got an amazing day of indie rock and punk for you, featuring the amazing Other Half from Norwich, Italy’s Hate Moss, Gravel from Leeds, Nottingham egg punk supergroup No Peeling, Birmingham’s Exotic Pets, Oxford/London/Kent’s Civil Villains, and local crews Achers, The Higher Line, Sverker Clern, and our pals Fuzzy Heart. What a day we’ll have!

Doing full price tickets for £18, and low income/under 18 options for £12 - these are no questions asked, if you need them, get them. Find these at the link in our bio.
