Opening Weekend is here 🎉 I’m excited to be part of Anacostia Murals Fest ‘26—a citywide public art experience featuring 100 artists and 100 murals across 18 days (May 1–17, 2026).
This festival transforms Washington, DC’s Wards 7 & 8, east of the river, into an open-air museum—centering creativity and access through public art and free community programming!
🖌 My mural: Dr. Martin Luther King
📍 Location: Minnesota Ave, Safeway parking lot
Art doesn’t just live in galleries—it lives in neighborhoods, on walls, and in the communities it reflects.

Some work doesn’t give easy answers.
It asks us to pause, look closer, and sit with questions that don’t resolve quickly.
Tour de Force Foundation is proud to support CRUX, a student-led group exhibition taking shape through Mark Garrett and Capital Hill Boys Club in Anacostia.
Opening: Saturday, May 2, 2026, 12:00-5:00 pm, at CHBC Gallery. Swipe for the flyer and details.
What kind of work do you believe deserves more support right now?
Artwork: Kennedy Branum, No Face, from CRUX. Courtesy of the artist and Intergenerational Art Gallery.

We beat the snow back!! This Year CHBC celebrated another successful International Mural in Playa Del Carmen Mexico. We were able to bring 7 children, 3 visual artists, 2 spoken word artists, and 4 parents from DC with us. Our group collaborated with the amazing students from Collegio Ingles Middle School in Playa through our liaison CeCe of High Vibez. While there we orchestrated a school talent show, in class activities, and of course a 30 ft mural! Thank you High Vibez for being a great table setter for our program helping us with allocations in the area and our itinerary. Our youth and artists were welcomed by the great people, beaches, food, art, style, accommodations, and weather! Having made friends and experiencing the beauty of the landscape we know that we will be back again. Special Thanks to DPR for their traveling youth engagement grants and to Events DC for extending their community programming to us to make this wonderful trip happen!
This program only happens due to the involvement of our wonderful parents and schools that let us work with their youth and having our extended arts community exist on location for us to expound on community engagement. Capital Hill Boys Club loves to work with “those working on what’s working in our communities here and abroad!” @ifetheartist @_im_lew @brianbaileyisart @dietrichw
We had an amazing time @colegioinglespdc creating murals and exchanging culture . We want to thank the school and their administration for allowing us to bring our international murals program to their school. Thank you @dcdpr & @eventsdc for your continuing support. We want to thank CeCe & Crystal for the connection with the school and the black community in Mexico 🇲🇽.
For this trip we added our spoken word program and youth, @ifetheartist coached @lemonade_dream to curate a youth international talent show. The kids from the school were amazing! Thank you @ifetheartist for your guidance with @lemonade_dream . We love putting our kids in a position to learn how to lead, and teach others.
On this trip we were able to explore Playa de Carmen, learn about indigenous cultures, exchange cultures with peers at the school, create a mural, and host & participate in the talent show. Our kids did a lot in 6 days. They visited @xcaretpark , ate new foods, swam in the ocean … they all fell off the banana 🍌 boat , swam the Myan river, jumped in Cenotes, snorkeled, chased sting rays lol and ate amazing Mexican street food. They also visited the @fridakahlo exhibit & Museum. While there they learned about her life but also @diegorivas_oficial
Thank you to our amazing team of artist and community leaders. @_im_lew , @brianbaileyisart @noirwar @ifetheartist @dietrichw . Our super star volunteers, Tenika, Lisa, Kelli and the parents! Mark was a great captain for our team! We thank you for your leadership!
So …. What’s next , well ! We are currently in the planning stages partnering with the school to establish an exchange program for the summer . Yes we are sending 3/4 kids from Anacostia to Mexico for the summer along with @brianbaileyisart to create murals and we will be receiving 3/4 kids from Mexico and admin to be in our summer murals camp here in Anacostia. When we return we will create another mural for their Tulum campus.
Now can we tell you guys how great @colegioinglespdc school students & campus were! OMG!!! They welcomed us with open arms . Their campus is beautiful.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
