That massive, glowing cloud is called the Space Jellyfish effect. It happens when a rocket launches during twilight (just before sunrise). As the Falcon 9 reaches high altitudes where the air is incredibly thin, its exhaust gases rapidly expand. Because the rocket is so high, it catches the morning sunlight from below the horizon, causing the frozen water vapor and exhaust trail to glow brightly against the dark sky.
