The 305 International Improv Fest continues May 15-16 at UCR Sede del Pacífico in Puntarenas, and the lineup is packed. Kick things off Friday morning with a hands-on handcrafted 16mm film workshop, then dive into an afternoon of improvisational dance with Venezuelan-American choreographer Luis Lara A. Malvacías. ⁠

Friday night brings the festival's Puntarenas opening with live performance in an unconventional campus space. Saturday, seventeen short films from international filmmakers spanning body, ritual, landscape, and memory screen with a Q&A, followed by the festival's Costa Rica closing night performance.⁠
