Spending some time with the latest from Princeton Tec. The new Ghost X, a super dope little headlamp. Multiple outputs in both visible and IR spectrums. “Ghost mode” activated by the throw lever immediately kills and locks out visible light settings to prevent white light ND. Easily my top pick for kit admin light. I plan on primarily keeping this riding at the top of my front plate bag. Very quickly adaptable to your arc rail as well for redundancy should the need arise. While I won’t be dedicating it to helmet use (I am running railink powered solutions for that), the Ghost makes a strong contender for a powerful helmet light for under a hundred bucks. Looking at you, $500 M-Ax arm and surefire vamp setup. In my own comparisons so far, this thing can get very impressive output side by side. IR output up to 320mWr. Follow up video later comparing output of the two.

Confirming our suspicions that this iteration would far surpass the previous gen, I’m happy to say that Tracer quality is evident here. While the previous model was OEM’d by LBT and didn’t lack in function or durability, uneven geometry was a common issue. This version is well tailored and very much symmetrical. Quality in material is also improved and small (well thought out) changes have been made, improving upon the original design without sacrificing any of the sought after functionality or aesthetic.
I’d like to point out two things that I think will be important to confirm for certain end users:
1. Rail link compatibility is confirmed. Installing the helmet cover with rail link system removed is a must. The power bridge at the rear of the system seats over and locks down on the helmet cover just fine. You’ll need to only make minor adjustments to the grub screw retention to accommodate for the extra cover material between the helmet shell and power bridge.
2. Ops core SF gen 2 helmet shell compatibility confirmed. It’s a near perfect fit. As with all helmet covers, time and effort are required to achieve the best fit and none are completely perfect. This one comes closest. There’s been some talk about the overall size of the Gen 2 SF shell potentially being slightly larger in exterior dimension over the Gen 1. If there is a difference, it may not be on all units or it’s not easily noticeable to me holding them side by side. That being said, the new cover definitely seems to be made for this specific fit. I also found the XL to be appropriately sized for my XL helmet. Will update when my second cover comes in for my gen 1 helmet.
For those interested, helmet setup is as follows:

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
