As promised, here’s part two of me dicking around a forest with an empty backpack and offensively short leg-wear, wandering through total isolation (aside from the guy filming my every move), gazing sagely at ducks and talking about making music with @mijdog and @the_listening_planet .. specifically the track ’Brace’.. hope you had a peaceful #EarthDay 🌱
Happy #EarthDay🌱to all earthlings who celebrate.. as some of you know, I was lucky enough to work with @mijdog last year on our ‘Imperfect Cadence’ record, and release tracks with @nature_theartist .. I was invited to Climate Week New York and saw first-hand some of the unbelievable people (honestly, just the best, smartest people I’ve ever met) that are pushing not just to protect and preserve our environments and habitats, but to change industries, governments and societal cultures and attitudes to better coexist with our natural world.. it’s very humbling.. and @soundsright.earth are using music to do it, which is obviously awesome.. check out the new tracks they released today.. here’s some little BTS we shot talking about the recordings.. more tomorrow.. #HappyEarthDay 🌍

hey.. if you’re reading this, you made it to 2025.. well done, proud of you 🫶 we’re up in to the harder levels.. Green Hill feels a long time ago, we are deep in to Scrap Brain now.. it can be harsh and unnerving and troubling.. been thinking a lot about friends in Los Angeles.. about strangers elsewhere.. aaaand thinking a lot in general, actually (rookie mistake).. deeply grateful for new friendships and perspectives and the re-calibration of my insistent and unending faith in humans.. also, I’ve become semi-addicted to ‘The Traitors’.. thank you all for your love of ‘Imperfect Cadence’, I’m really proud of what we made.. going to release some new music and get out playing live again very soon.. badly need it! ❤️ x

We couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to start 2025—arriving in Glasgow on January 1st to continue filming our documentary, “My Uncle Martyn.”
Our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the sunny shores of Florida to the mystical swamps of the Atchafalaya Basin in Louisiana—where the still waters and ancient cypress trees seem to hold secrets of another world—and now to Scotland, Martyn’s spiritual home, this road trip has been a testament to the beauty and diversity of the places that shaped his life.
This leg of the journey has been utterly magical. Starting near the tranquil waters of Loch Lomond, we ventured into the wild expanse of Rannoch Moor, where the silence is broken only by the haunting call of distant birds. Glencoe greeted us with its towering peaks and cascading waterfalls, a landscape so dramatic it feels like stepping into another world.
Scotland’s natural beauty feels alive—every mountain, loch, and glen seems to whisper a story. For Martyn, this land wasn’t just a place; it was a source of inspiration and peace. Capturing the raw, untamed essence of these landscapes feels like capturing a part of him.
We were also honored to reconnect with ONR, Robert Shields, who joined us in Glencoe. Having worked with Robert on his recent album Imperfect Cadence—a deeply moving collection inspired by Scotland itself—this meeting felt profoundly significant. His music, which resonates so deeply with the spirit of this land, adds a powerful dimension to the film, weaving together themes of connection, memory, and place.
Stay tuned as we continue to explore Scotland’s wild heart and Martyn’s enduring connection to it.

‘Imperfect Cadence’, my collaboration with Martyn Stewart of The Listening Planet, is out tomorrow (Dec 6th)
It’s been the most enormous privilege to work on this project. Mostly, in honesty, just to meet and become friends with him. He’s one of humanities best. But also for the places it’s taken me and the experiences it’s given me, things completely outwith my normality. To be able to involve friends, artists and musicians that I admire and trust so much. To connect with the natural world, and rebalance and recalibrate my place in it. It’s not always been easy. But it has been so, so rewarding.
When you’re listening to it, you’re hearing a collaboration between a) me, this year, stomping around a studio and piecing music together and b) Martyn, hunting down audio in the Scottish wilds at any time in the last fifty years.
If you enjoy listening to it even a fraction of the amount I did writing it.. you’ll be fine.
Pre-save in bio. Out at midnight. 🥃 🌱

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
